Do you still access Lit while you are at work?

You say that now, but you wouldn't have mentioned it at all unless you were dying to tell someone. PM me. I'm a great listener.

Wow...blast from the past.

heh...and it's still the same at my job. Company PC's, no lit. I found out that for me to get a connection to my room at camp...too cost prohibitive. So...I have the two week black-out.

It's alright though...I'm used to it...now...almost. I only snap off people's heads for the first five day instead of all fifteen like I used to.;)

Not until you tell me who you are.

Something happen to Ginny?

Did I have to actually post the whole thought after yesterday's drama of the day thread?

Okay-

I wonder if Ginny still thinks this thread is "preachy" now that she sees what can happen to people and their careers if caught posting to Lit at work? Especially when it has gotten to the point that fellow posters are the ones to turn you in!

Nope,I wasn't involved at all. Go read the BlackSnake thread from yesterday about Killswitch. You can't miss it, it's up to 27 pages!

I veiw Lit 99% of the time from work..... we have no policy that says I can't and I get my work done so it's not a problem.

Your employer has no written policy that says they can view whatever you do whenever they want to? That all activity done on your pc belongs to them? That you should use your pc only for work related activity?

Hard to believe there'd be an employer out there so far behind the times.

I can't, access is limited to our corporate site, UPS, our sign shop contractor, and uniform order site.

Besides, I'm too busy throat fucking my cute female employees.

:p

I'm siphoning off corporate profits so fitting in Lit is difficult.

I'm not tellin
next thing you know someone will email my boss and claim I was fucking white chicks

I don't have a computer at work...so...no, unless I bring my laptop on breaks.

It's almost the only time I access Lit. In my position, I'm not worried about being fired for it. I open lit first thing in the morning and leave it open all day, check in, post if I feel like it, work, check back through out the day. It breaks the day to day monotony.

Unless you're the owner of the company, there is no such thing as a position you shouldn't be worried about being fired from.

I agree! And, this served as a good reminder of how stupid I was being! I can't imagine how stupid I would feel getting fired from a job I've been at for 15 years with an excellent record for doing something so dumb. Thanks for the reality check Cheyenne!

Not 99% of the time, but during the slow periods, we can access whatever.

Edit - As long as sigs and avatars are off, everything's fine.

I'm so glad I'm not sitting in front of that computer at work anymore!

I work mainly from home now. I access lit throughout my day, but work comes first. I only get paid for the time I'm actually working, so I like to earn the money and work.

I use my computer for work. When I first started, I used Yahoo maps for directions and printed them up. When I saw that it put ksmybuttons at the top, I immediately changed to mapquest.

I love my newer job!
