Do You Really Exist?

Isn't it beautiful?

They are there, of course they are there but like a gem on a beach they are mostly found when not being looked for.

Hope I feel is not the right word, fate is more apt, and remember you are just as much of a gem on the beach as they are. Mrs H
Show em your lustre.......smile x

I may have to steal a bit of this for the future.

Thank you for posting it Mrs. H.

And yes, they exist. I wake up with one every morning.:rose:

YOU! My darling angel, are an exception to the rule........

You and Natty are Lits success story and it's beautiful!!

To the men of Lit?

This is what so many of us women are looking

for. This is what we crave and yearn for. Whether from

our spouses, significant others, lovers ~ real or fantasy.

Does a man who believe this exist?

(Thank you to my dear friend who sent me this poem)

this is what should be said to you by your lover this morning....

waking up to realize
just how much I despise
still another bright sunrise
unable to show me your sweet eyes

next to me in bed I wish
pulling you to me ascloseasthis
delivering a loving kiss
rekindling last night's bliss

far away but in my mind
creating fantasies of this kind
hoping a way I will find
to make you forever mine

I love this...so true, and brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for posting ..

I suppose one could say that romance is in the eye (or feel) of another....I am definitely not a traditionally romantic guy by any means, but I have been told that I have some mannerisms and habits that are romantic. Little things such as the need to touch, even when sleeping, the unexpected caresses....nothing much, but meaningful to those that look for them and receive them.

I tend to just concentrate on being a decent guy, not quick to judge...and happy to just BE with someone. But I am definitely not the guy described initially in the thread.

I guess my question is: where is the line between being a nice guy, and being "too" nice? being a decent human being, and being a doormat?

Yes there are men out there who feel this way about the women in their life...I would venture to say the majority do...whether they are able to express it in such terms is another question.
