Do you own your body?

I am fully advocating for every woman in states with abortion bans to fully abstain from sex.
Once again proving women don't lose choice if abortion is actually banned, and you know it. 👍
From their husbands, from their boyfriends.
Does that include husbands and boyfriends who fully support abortion? I'm actually curious how you think that works.
In fact I would actually encourage women to not bother with men.
I don't see a problem with this. Any woman with your mentality ignoring men is a blessing.

The math was clear. I would have posted Governor DeSantis’ victory declaration but Coach Dungy’s showed up first on my timeline. Both are very popular in Florida.
The math wasn't clear yet by any outlets. Next time,.make sure the pillow guy makes the call 🤙

Now that Adrina has taken the No Moar Penis! Pledge
And nothing of value was lost? 🤭😄

Though credit must be given where credit is due, as adrina correctly called out that replacing Biden was political suicide:
I am in and have always been in the Biden lane.

I think going with another candidate is election suicide.
This is a rare instance where adrina deserves full credit for calling it like it is.

It needed 60% to pass.

Yes. So you’re pretending 43% is a great victory! 😄 You sure do a lot of pretending.

Poor runty DeSantis just can’t get out the vote. His anti-charisma works against him.

Pro-choice gets a solid majority of votes when it’s on the ballot, but most red states are too pathetic to let it get on the ballot.

The governor campaigned against the measure. It did not pass.

43%! 😄

An appropriately low vote total for runty Ron.

(See what I did there? I crack myself up.)
The Governor is very pleased that the two measures he campaigned against both failed. Also that the good citizens of Florida handed President-elect Trump and Senator Scott decisive victories. 🇺🇸

A solid majority of Floridians are pro-choice. 👍

A higher percentage of Floridians voted pro-choice than voted for crooked Rick Scott. 👍 Or for Trump.

how the votes for amendments/enshrinements etc. went down with more results at the site

Arizona - passed

What was on the ballot:
The Arizona Abortion Access Act, appearing on ballots as Proposition 139, would amend the Arizona Constitution to add a fundamental right to abortion.

What happens now: Proposition 139 overturns Arizona's 15-week ban, preventing the state government from restricting abortion before the fetus is viable outside the uterus as determined by a treating health care professional. It also allows for abortion after viability (usually around 24 weeks) to protect the life, physical, or mental health of the pregnant person and prohibits laws that penalize individuals for aiding or assisting a person exercising the right to an abortion.

Colorado: Amendment 79 - passed

What was on the ballot: Colorado's Right to Abortion and Health Insurance Coverage Initiative, or Amendment 79, would amend the state's constitution to enshrine the right to abortion and allow the use of public funds for abortion.

What happens now: Amendment 79 prohibits state and local governments from denying, impeding, or discriminating against abortion access and allows abortions to be covered under state health insurance plans. Before the vote, Colorado was already one of nine states that allow abortion at any point in pregnancy.

Florida: Amendment 4 - not passed despite 57.1% voting for it

What was on the ballot: Florida's Right to Abortion Initiative, or Amendment 4, would overturn Florida's six-week ban and amend the Florida Constitution's Declaration of Rights to prohibit the restrictions of abortion before viability or when determined necessary by a medical professional to protect a patient's health.

This leaves in place a constitutional provision that permits a law requiring parents to be notified before a minor can receive an abortion. One benefit, though, is language added to the state's constitution: “… no law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider." Still, that leaves women depending on the healthcare provider and this is Florida so there will be problems for some.

What was on the ballot: Maryland's Question 1, or Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment, would enshrine the right to "reproductive freedom" in the state's constitution. Pass
Because it passed, the Maryland Constitution's Declaration of Rights is now amended to ensure "reproductive freedom," defined to include "the ability to make and effectuate decisions to prevent, continue, or end one's own pregnancy."

Missouri: Amendment 3 - passed

Right to Reproductive Freedom Initiative
Amendment 3 overturns the state's near-total abortion ban, establishing a right to make decisions about reproductive health care, including abortion and contraceptives, without governmental interference, while still allowing abortion to be restricted or banned after fetal viability except to protect the life or health of the woman. It also prevents the government from discriminating against persons providing or obtaining reproductive health care.

Montana's Right to Abortion Initiative - passed
