Do you own your body?

I think when people start thinking of each other as people, most of the american culture wars will fade away.
And at that point, the culture wars will become much more apparent in racist and misogynistic Canada.

No need for a heads-up, the Canadian elitists and working-class bigots have already started tearing their own country apart.
I would be very interested in learning more about your views on Canada.

Especially from your direct experiences up here.

You're not worth my time. Unlike you, I have a life outside of Lit.

My direct experiences with Canadians are sufficient understand where that elitist nation heading.

Some great news from Liz Warren. Plenty of help is there for women dealing with unplanned pregnancies (ie. When Planned Parenthood fails). The not so great news is the Native American Senator from Massachusetts wants to shut all the crisis pregnancy centers down. This kind of extremism is not helpful to anyone.

Just for the record I'm pro choice up to 24 weeks.

The point I'm making is that this a WOMEN'S issue - REAL women, not mentally ill males pretending to be women.
And if these males get pregnant can they choose?

24 weeks? Hmm
Too bad that wasn’t on their table

My point is that some men have expectations that they can literally grab and take possession of what ever they want, then toss it aside when they are done. These people are the types who would not extend the same rights of sovereignty or respect to others that they expect for themselves.

They trespass upon the rights of other people because they feel superior and try to use tradition to justify their selfish actions and biases. They are threatened by anyone who challenges their entitlement.

Some men howled when women were given the right to own and to inherit land, other men became the majority and voted to give women those rights.

What kind of man are you?
Like there aren’t women who behave that way, especially in the corporate arena.

When does the new Reproductive Rights Task Force start performing abortions?

Asking for Adrina. Tick tock.

I don't understand any of that.
Yeah cuz you can’t imagine having your life changed just because you fucked someone
Until that’s a possibility for you, you shouldn’t have a say in any pregnancy!
Get it??

tschida (rep, of course) quoted anti-abortionist woman, saying it left an impression on him and got him thinking:
“the womb is a place set aside for another person who arrives as a result of a choice of a man and a woman to procreate.”
“That single factor has struck me since I heard that commentary,” Tschida wrote.

The Republican told the Daily Montanan that the message he took away from the uterus exchange was comparable to a time he saw a doe fend off birds of prey from eating her dead fawn.
“We’ve got a mother that’s a wild animal that’s trying to protect her offspring who’s already dead, but we don’t have the same concern generally speaking for unborn in humanity,” he said. “I thought that was a pretty interesting parallel or dynamic.”
1: what kind of "parallel" is that? completely nothing alike
2: what kind of idiocy sees this a "thinking"?

his words drew a lot of response for its antiquated woman as a servant to the supply of population attitude and the chilling idea that the womb doesn't belong to the woman but is some sacred, set-aside place for the lord's purpose/the greater good of humankind

srsly, how many women will buy into this stuff? it's '22, folks, and both the vote and the right to choose birth control/family options won't be given up by those who fought so very long and hard to get them
