A better analogy is that you're in a rowboat with someone else and far from shore. They give you a heavy bundle and push you out of the boat. As they row away and leave you barely able to keep your head above water they say you'd better not come back without the bundle.

That's an absolutely shitting analogy. A better one would be what if you were on a deserted island and after you'd gathered your necessities you found out someone was taking shelter in your hut and eating your food. And when you are discovered your rescuers demand you continue to feed and cloth that person because they are your responsibility on account of them eating your food.

There’s no mention of abortion, he states that common law contemplates the beginning of life in the womb legally recognized with first movement. Common law doesn’t sanction abortion at all, what it does is give credence to a starting point for legally recognizing a human life.

Contemplate= have in mind as probable though not certain.
