Do you own your body?

Can I just make an imperfect analogy here? Suppose I own a boat and I am out on the ocean doing my boat thing. I see a person in the ocean that is treading water and in need of rescue. I pick them up and they are now on my boat.

Do I have the right to kill them? Under what circumstances would you argue that I should be entitled to throw them overboard?
How often do you take your woman out for a power washing and oil change?

A better analogy is that you're in a rowboat with someone else and far from shore. They give you a heavy bundle and push you out of the boat. As they row away and leave you barely able to keep your head above water they say you'd better not come back without the bundle.

I think Keith Morrison did a Dateline episode on this.

Feel free to quote where women are mentioned in the Constitution
A quote from an original Supreme court justice: 1789

I'm sure you'll find a way to dance around the use of the word fetus since you removed the comment

James Wilson, founding father, signatory of the Declaration of Independence and an original Supreme Court justice wrote;

“With consistency, beautiful and undeviating, human life, from its commencement to its close, is protected by the common law. In the contemplation of law, life begins when the infant is first able to stir in the womb. By the law, life is protected not only from immediate destruction, but from every degree of actual violence, and, in some cases, from every degree of danger”

There is no analogy that involves a boat that makes any sense to a pregnancy, unless you're a moron....then there are analogies involving ice cream sundaes and probably car insurance.

I'm sure if you're really a stupid ass right dipshit, you can work an analogy using guns and ammo.

Cool, now quote the Constitution

Lol, you don't realize that a row boat far from shore is a classic analogy for someone who faces a major problem without any help? Yeah, nothing analogous to pregnancy. Maybe you should look up the meaning of "analogy."

You have me confused with someone else. I never said passing laws will stop abortions. As I’ve noted in other posts, we’re already witnessing a boom in interstate abortion tourism.
Then the entire attempt to ban abortion is a giant waste of time. But I live in New York, so perhaps it will be good for the economy. My friends in Canada will probably cash in as well at current exchange rates and some clinics in Mexico, too. $$$$$$$$$$ are king!

Yes, life does NOT begin at conception and no ban on abortion prior to the "quickening" was contemplated at the time of the Constitution. You've just made the case that the Constitution recognizes a right to first and second trimester abortions!

That's an absolutely shitting analogy. A better one would be what if you were on a deserted island and after you'd gathered your necessities you found out someone was taking shelter in your hut and eating your food. And when you are discovered your rescuers demand you continue to feed and cloth that person because they are your responsibility on account of them eating your food.

There is no dancing around the word fetus necessary. According to Wilson life begins when the infant is first able to stir in the womb. Babies don't start stirring in the womb until between 16 and 25 months on average. Basically if its not kicking its not a baby yet.

The SCOTUS draft opinion does not attempt to ban abortion in your state (NY) or mine (CA). It simply let’s each state set its own rules. Democrats tried to pass a national policy last week but could only muster 49 votes.

You don't give up, do you? I said IT'S A GIANT WASTE OF TIME TO BAN ABORTION. The SCOTUS is full of shit and the smarter ones among them know it.

We've known that Manchin is a fucking traitor for a while however and nobody expected it to pass. We wanted to get people on record so people, especially women, know who is fucking them over.

This isn't 1776, I care about people outside my state because we are intertwined in ways the OG 13 were not.

There’s no mention of abortion, he states that common law contemplates the beginning of life in the womb legally recognized with first movement. Common law doesn’t sanction abortion at all, what it does is give credence to a starting point for legally recognizing a human life.

Contemplate= have in mind as probable though not certain.

Try reading the draft opinion. SCOTUS is not banning abortion. You said you live in NY. You will be fine.

50 other Senators joined Manchin.

Okay please stop with that bullshit. For starters some of us give a shit what happens to people in other states. More to the point depending on your state's laws you traveling may not be viable.

Cool, now quote in the constitution the word abortion.
Are you saying that the procedure should be listed before the actual people that are seeking freedom of medical procedure?

Cool

Not the happiest of examples. James Wilson was the only serving Supreme Court Justice who simultaneously served time in prison for his criminality. He was also in the paid service of France, and went into hiding to avoid charges of profiteering by engrossment. So just the sort of moral exemplar to appeal to you!
