Do you own your body?

Few men understand how various types of birth control affect a woman’s body. The pill tricks the body into acting as if it were pregnant, yet many men can’t understand why a woman on birth control isn’t always horny.

Choosing reliable birth control is a major decision for women while many men can’t be bothered with a condom.

🤷‍♀️

And further, do everything they can to convince a woman it's not necessary. Because it doesn't feel "as good".

Exactly who expects that?

Birth control pills have been available since the 60s at least.

Exactly what further investments do you think men are required to contribute?

If men aren't willing to control their sperm, then they are at the whim of those they left it with.

No thought beyond your own beliefs and a reflex to attack anyone who disagrees.

Most women will want kids on their farms. Those who don't will probably seek other careers, but their options will be limited in a population of 90% subsistence farmers. One option is joining a convent with vows of celibacy and more severe poverty so they have time for their personal interests of scholarship. (The convents will be run in new religions with probably more ecological values, not the dinosaur churches that are fading out now.) The situation is different in the upper classes, where there is pressure to breed dynasties. Being a brood mare is often part of the price of wealth. And in tribal societies, the elder women of a tribe may push their daughters to marry men of other tribes, since genetic diversity is necessary for a healthy gene pool.

Maybe you should talk to women instead of using your own ignorant assumptions and perceptions.

Nothing like a man viewing pregnancy through a lens which completely disregards women.

And further, do everything they can to convince a woman it's not necessary. Because it doesn't feel "as good".
I reject any argument or insinuation that women are somehow weak minded amd easily manipulated by men. Women and men are equals, or do you disagree?

Having sex is not consent to the burdens of producing and raising children. That applies across the board, not just for women. Or do you dispute that notion?

If a man leaves behind his sperm carelessly he can't be surprised he doesn't call the shots.

He has no say on whether the woman wants to carry a pregnancy to term, absolutely.

But she has no say on whether he should contribute financially or otherwise to the upbringing of the child, if she chooses to have it.

Keep it in your pants or pay the bills. Period.

He should keep control of his sperm. If he doesn't want someone else to control what happens with it.

I'm talking about his time and money, not sperm.

I already said he doesn't decide or have a say if she keeps a pregnancy or not.

He simply has no obligation to help raise the child, financially or otherwise.

Keep your legs closed or have the baby, gotcha.

Sorry, I withdraw the insult. Let’s just say that anyone with your attitude is not responsible enough for vaginal sex. Luckily there are alternatives and I suggest you stick with them.

Again, he left it behind. It's like you think men are too stupid to realize that if they ejaculate inside a woman's vagina they risk impregnating the woman.

Apparently in your world men are too weak willed to wear a condom or take an active role in the bc process.

That old saying: failure to plan is planning to fail.

I recommend a nuked cantaloupe for those weak men who are more focused on their orgasms than reality.

"If you're not prepared to have a kid, don't have vaginal sex". Gotcha.

That's a pretty strong anti abortion argument, but your entitled to your opinion.

Not seeing any point here that justifies forcing anyone to pay for a child they don't want to support, especially if they have no choice if the child is born or not.

They do though. To use protection or to not engage.
Wrong, men do not decide whether a pregnancy is carried to term or not. When it comes to pregnancy, it is 100% her body, 100% her right, 100% her choice, 100% her decision. At most, she can ask him what he thinks about it, if she wants to tell him at all.

Guess how much responsibility a person gets if they have 100% ownership, right, choice and decision over an issue.

If he never deposits sperm there, then there is no pregnancy.

What part of that is difficult?

Again all he has to do is not deposit his sperm.

Unless you're talking about rape, it's her choice to allow that to happen or not.

And even rapists don't pay child support, because they're either (ideally) executed or in prison for a very long time.
Again all he has to do is not deposit his sperm.
See above. Unless you're talking about rape, she decides whether she risks impregnation or not. Women control their bodies, not men, therefore they decide whether they risk getting impregnated or not.

I outright reject any claim or argument that men decide whether women risk getting pregnant or not. It's their body and choice, not his. Period.

It's his choice as well....unless you're talking about her raping him.

Is your assertion that it's her choice for him to fuck her and he has no choice unless he rapes her? I'm completely confused.

Men can consent to sex with women, yes. And it's 100% her choice whether any sex that can risk pregnancy happens or not. It's her body, her choice, period.

Any argument about men deciding whether women should engage in sex potentially resulting in pregnancy is rapist bullshit. She makes the decision about her body, not him. Period.

So a man can decide not to impregnate a woman.

Got it.

If a woman decides to want to engage in sex and the man doesn't. Then he made a decision...or no?

Ya, so? What's that got to do with the simple fact he doesn't decide for her whether to engage in sex that risks pregnancy?
If a woman decides to want to engage in sex and the man doesn't. Then he made a decision...or no?
See above. The man can agree or disagree to engage in sex that can risk pregnancy.

That has jack shit to do with the simple fact she has the final (and only) say on whether it happens or not. It's her body, her choice. End of argument.

You contradict yourself almost immediately

They both have final say on whether they have sex.

If they agree to have sex, then yes, the pregnancy is hers alone and her body.
