I have owned more a dozen pellet rifles over the years and my favorite is the fifty dollar Crosman 2100 with a Barska scope.
Anyway, the Crosman 2100 and most of my other pellet rifles require ten pumps for accuracy at fifty yards or more.
Lately, I desired to purchase a one-cock break-barrel rifle with easy effort with excellent accuracy.
Well, I tried the Crosman Phantom and didn't like it. I purchased the Gamo Silent Cat and found that it was not so silent. Every so often, it would report like a .22 caliber gunpowder rifle and accuracy was erratic.
My third purchase was the awesome Umarex Surge.
You can take it from me, the Umarex Surge is the best spring-piston break-barrel rifle that you can purchase for about a $100.
It's an amazing air rifle with accuracy that is astounding.
