I think, that if we're totally being honest with ourselves, each of us assesses every potential mate we encounter, subconsciously (or sometimes quite consciously) with a "Yes", "No", or "Maybe" It's our biological imperative.

What happens after that is a matter of music, literature, cinema, and "Me, Too" stories.

My usual comeback lines are, “I wouldn’t throw her off my bed,” or “gotta get me a piece of that!”

Her comebacks are more direct, “yes,” or “god, yes!” Her new one is “hall pass.”

Thus far the game's only been played in my own head. And honestly I was beginning to wonder if I'm some kinda despicable bum. I figured hell, if anyone would know despicable my Lit peeps would.
