Do you have a first aid kit?

tattoo bandaids
that white first aid tape
tweezers
ace bandage
hydrogen peroxide
double strength antibiotic ointment
silvidine cream
heating gel pack
children's tylenol
ibuprofin
tylenol cold capsuls
nyquil
chlorasceptic spray

I think that's about it.

wait, digital thermometer
and a liquid medicine syringe thingy, that's not a needle thingy.

I didn't realize how inadequate my "first aid kit" was until last night!

I busted my toenail open on the stairs...and all I had were these HUGE bandaids! lol

I added to my "kit" this morning after I stopped off at Wal-Mart. :)

Ow! I'll bet that hurt. How is the owie today, hon?

Don't forget the aspirin. Not for pain relief, it can lessen the damage of heart attack if given early. Not to replace prompt medical attention, of course.

A small bottle of saline for contact lens wearers is invaluable for washing out something in the eye.

Let's see...what is scattered around the house that could be considered "first aid".....

On top of the pantry in the dining room, we've got:
a thermometer
latex-free bandaids
arnica cream
hydrogen peroxide
assorted cough drops
aloe vera gel
generic pepto bismol tabs
epi-pen jr.
Aspergum
generic Sudafed
Anbesol
Syrup of Ipecac
wart remover stuff
Bacitracin
asthma inhalers

In the kitchen, along with our pharmacy-sized collection of prescription medications, we have:
assorted bottles of Motrin and Tylenol (mostly generic versions of both)
epi-pen jr.
dye-free generic Benadryl
some cool pain meds the doc gave me for my knee, but it hasn't hurt enough to take them yet.
little bottle of asthma medicine for the nebulizer, in the fridge

Upstairs in the bathroom and/or bedroom we've got
tweezers
hydrogen peroxide
q-tips
bandaids
epi-pen jr.
asthma inhaler
thermometer

And assorted other stuff scattered here and there. I guess I ought to actually get a real first-aid kit put together, huh.

And you call yourself a kiwi....? BAH

We can fix anything, anywhere, anytime with No 8 Wire, a hammer, duct tape and super glue.

Aint that the truth brother. :D

Mine has most of what Debbies has give or take a few things. I have a couple of kits actually. One for the home, and one for the bush. The bush kit has a few added refinements like a suture kit and a couple of flares in case I get dumb in the bush and need sewing and rescuing. Better safe than sorry.:)
