some one once brought up the fact that Lit needed to sell an emblem that all the members would recognize. that way we would know each other out in public...

i think this thread (sorry for the hijack Blue, by me and thump), brings up another good question. would you want others to know that you were a member of Lit? i don't mind at all, but i think that some folks have brought up some valid points about it.

Hi.... I just found this thread and think it is funny everyone thinks the same thing... I go shopping and look at people and wonder if they would be good Lit people. I go to coffee with Angelofsex, because we are friends off of Lit as well, and we look at people and think mmmmmmmmm.

I am much easier to spot then the average person because of my height but still I look and wonder. Even this past summer I looked when I was on the beach.

Someone said suppose it was your neighbor what would you do? I would laugh and say "Hi, in the same boat huh?" I don't post pictures because of that plus I have older children that could be here. Sometimes I think to myself *Soo what! You have a right to how you feel and think* but I still don't post pictures. Funny how we all think.....

Oh, great. Hadn't thought of that, Sexy. My girls just turned 17, as I mentioned before. I'll have to go check their side of the computer to see if I find any Lit stuff lurking! LOL!

You haven't hijacked it, hon. I asked the question because I was curious, and to get people to talking about the subject. I'm just glad that it hasn't died yet!

As for an emblem. Hmm....how about a t-shirt that shouts to the world "Proud resident of Literotica" (resident, member...whatever). Or to be more discreet, perhaps a small lapel pin or necklace...or somesuch.

Would I wear either? Sometimes, depending on my mood. Not that I'd want my girls asking questions about it...LOL!

I'm a crotch watcher...oh yeah! Always on the lookout for a nice bulge...hehehe. Anyway, there was this guy who was sitting at a table across from us a bit, eating alone. He was hot! I have told several of my immediate family about it and there is one that I know visits on a very regular basis when he can.

Does it bother me to think that I am thinking seriously about posting a pic thread and that someone I know might see it? Nahhh...course then I am the kind that flashes the college instructors just to see the look on their faces.....guess you could say that I just am not worried about. Life is way too short not to have all the fun that one can...

When you are out and about during your day, do you ever look at people and think, "that person could be someone from Lit"?

I do. Sometimes when I'm out at a store, or at the doctors office, or just about anywhere, it occurs to me that some of the people I see could be Literoticans.

So...do you ever look at the clerk checking you out at the store or fast food place, your doctor, the cop giving you a speeding ticket, your mechanic, the bank teller or loan officer, etc....and wonder if they are Literoticans?

Anonymity has been mentioned before but it is worth repeating.
Psycologically, it gives me complete and utter freedom to be who I want to be here... in r/ l I would never do or say (most of) the things I tell to you guys.

The only thing I worry about being judged on at LIT is my spelling and grammar. But sometimes I wonder if that is the real me or is my LIT persona the real me. I'm not really worried about it I just wonder...

i know what you mean about the Anonmity thing. it is the one reason that i have continued to say some of the things that i do to certain folks here. i don't worry about the spelling and the grammer. as someone else said "screw em if they can't take a joke" and believe me, there are days when both my spelling and my grammer are just that, a joke.

Howdy ya'll. Great thread, Blue. This was a topic of discussion oon the Renaisance thread. Maybe an L in flames? I wonder all the time...and recently was thinking it at a board meeting when a board member said she belonged to a Literature site where she and others shared writing ideas. She conveniently couldn't remember the name of the site, however, when asked. I wonder why? lol.

Blue~so you're a crotch watcher? Hmmm...reminds of a last fall on a particularly warm afternoon. I needed to catch up on some professional reading so I went to Barnes & Noble, where I wouldn't get distracted. I was sipping my second cup of chai and feeling good about the progress I was making. I happened to notice a pair of legs breeze by my table. A lovely scent reminiscent of her flowery summer dress billowing about her. My eyes followed those lovely limbs to her seat. She sat facing me. Smiling, she drank from her cup and opened her book. She then crossed her legs, allowing her skirt to ride high up the thigh that happened to be facing me. Her nose in her book, I couldn't help but notice how her fingers carressed her thigh and wondering how smooth she must feel. Occassionally, her eyes would peer over her book while she drank. Each time she caught my eyes, she would quickly look down, but move her legs. Frequently, she would part them, leaving me drooling over the white thong she wore....
