Do you ever get the feeling that someone has just walked over your grave?

Everytime I listen to a particular song, it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I get that feeling sometimes just when I'm walking along, minding my own beeswax and my skin just starts to crawl, as if I was suddenly in a dangerous position. My mother always said that someone must be walking over my grave. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

It happens to me all the time. I can even do it on purpose to relax my body after a particulary tense event. All I have to do is close my eyes and concentrate for a second then roll my head in just the right way. I get a ripple effect that starts out at the base of my neck and spreads through out my body. Feels great and takes the tension out of my muscles.

Happens all the time here!! Hairs stand on end and I get a little tingling feeling....very creepy! LOL

I HATE that feeling. Every time I hear a particular chord, I get that same feeling, and it travels all over my body.

Yeah

I get that occasionally too.

I got it when I heared one of my fave songs for the first time.

There is a song that does that to me but not everytime.

Simon & Garfunkle: Sound Of Silence

No longer a lit virgin......................

Yes

There are certain melodies that affect me that way. One in particular, "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Verve, haunted me, popping up in various bars, restaurants, even malls. I would need to just stand still a while to relax.

The notes of "The Phantom of the Opera" when the chandelier rises also gives me bumps all over.

I get something like that on occasion. More a sense of impending doom. My senses go nuts, adrenelin starts pumping - as does my heart. I think it's a fight or flight reaction kicking in, but for no reason whatsoever.
Doesn't happen much, and after feeling it a few times, I now try to extend the feeling while I pick my brain for what's causing it.
Still haven't figured it out yet, but it no longer bothers me.

...and so far no pianos have dropped on my head. :)
