Do you ever find your fantasies wandering into the realm of the absurd/comical?

Cuckoldry is one of my favourite themes.

Am writing a story about a woman who chooses to the use the services of a “human stud farm” to get pregnant, because her husband is infertile.

I’m trying to imagine the scenes before the characters get down to the sex. I wondered if the woman might be browsing through a glossy brochure produced by the “human stud farm” as advertising material – like the kind you might see from a holiday resort, etc., and, in addition to offering a “fertility service”, they might offer, as an “added extra option”, for an added fee, the option of a “memorable sexual experience” for the woman, i.e., without the extra fee, it would be a cold clinical process, whereas, with the added fee, the stud would provide a sexually pleasurable experience, which would even be filmed, and a copy given to the woman, etc...

Now, that seemed like an interesting idea to me, I mean a little detail – not that it’s an important plot point in any way, but just a little piece of detail, i.e., a glossy brochure, a sexual experience offered as a professional service, etc...

Equally, I’m aware that the idea sounds a little (unintentionally) comical... I just find myself thinking, if someone else read this, they would just burst out laughing...

I wonder, do any of you ever find your fantasies crossing the line of “kinky” into the realm(s) of the absurd? Would you just write it anyway, or would you try to write something to suit your readers' tastes (I mean, if you're a non-professional writer like me)?
