The Germans have just legalized same-sex committed coupling, joining a number of other Euro countries (and Vermont). While I didn't find marriage so agreeable, I know a lot of lit players delight in their unions, so I would hope you're happy to see your gay brothers and sisters empowered to share their wealth, joys, and benefits. Are You?

I don't think commitment is about signing papers.

Fuck that, Lavy, I want the dress, the ceremony, the party and the honeymoon.

:D

I'll celebrate when same-sex marriages are legal and proper all over the USA. Hopefully this latest step will give our country a push toward the same.

Now does anyone really think a male/female couples get arrested for sodomy?

:p

Orally or Sodomy wise?

:p

Separation of church and state. The church can pooh pooh same sex marriage all they want and rave about the gay agenda until they're blue in the face but that has nothing to do with our state who should legally treat all persons and couples the same. Legal marriage is not the same as church marriage and any idiot can tell you that being married in a church isn't legal unless the state has a piece of paper that you picked up at the courthouse. So let the same sex marriages commence. If the church objects then the same sex partners can marry in an arboretum or botanical garden. They're nicer anyway.

The gay agenda. What a bunch of {censored}.

Now if we could just get rid of Article 125 in the UCMJ. Sojers can't have sodomy, which is oral or anal sex or sex with anyone that is not of the opposite gender. Phooey. I liked breaking that one.
