Do not be alarmed, this is just a test.

This test does not measure your intelligence, your fluency with words and certainly not your mathematical ability. It will, however, give you some guage of your mental flexibility and creativity. In the years since the test was developed, few people were able to solve more than half of the questions on the first try. Many, however,reported getting answers long after the test had been set aside - particularly at unexpected moments when their minds were relaxed; and some reported solving all the questions over a period of several days. Take this as a personal challenge. Good Luck!

INSTRUCTIONS: Each equation below contains the initials of words that will make it correct. Find the missing words.

EXAMPLE: 26= L of the A would be 26= Letters of the Alphabet

26= L of the A
7= W of the W
1001= AN
12= S of the Z
54= C in a D (with the J)
9= P in the S S
88= P K
13= S on the A F
32= D F at which W F
18= H on the G C

Problem solved

I'm not surprised at how quickly all of you managed to solve these. I was already aware of how many smart and clever people frequent this Board. These are the solutions to our quiz. I noticed two had elicited a different response to the original solution and that this second answer fit just as neatly as the first. So, in all fairness, I'll have to give credit to them as acceptable answers. I've put the original answer and included the second one in brackets. How did you do?
