Do LDR"S Really last?

hello all

I have been in a LDR for about a year and sometimes we do really good in keeping in touch but then other times I have a feeling I am not the only one in his life. Has anyone been thru this either by still going thru it or one of you has broken it off. I am a flight Attendant so it's hard to spend much time with him because of my grueling schedule. I have some passengers who that I meet that say beware of LDR's. Would appreciate anyones opinions?

LDRs are tough. I would not put myself through one for all the love anyone thinks they can give me. But that's me.

There have been many sucessful stories, and many people have found eventual happiness. I think that's great, and I also think they are the exception to the rule.

One thought in your post hit home for me. You feel you are not the only one in his life. I've learned a long time ago to trust my instincts and intuition. If I "feel" something isn't right, it usually isn't. With LDR it is easy to also get involved with some one who is closer. Being in and LDR is a very lonely relationship, and some people will meet others for what they think are casual encounters. Sometimes those "casual" encounters turn serious.

Be cautious and listen to that voice within you. Be certain your communication is open and honest!

All you can do is follow your heart hon, and give it your best shot.

This is a long life when filled with regret, do what you have to do, and it as well as you can. If that's not enough to keep it alive, then it was never sustainable anyway.
