There will be those that have no doubt about evidence, and there will be those that will doubt all evidence. (L.C. 2003)

U.S. troops south of Baghdad believe they have captured Russian chemical warheads along with a launcher and a chemical warfare specialist, according to a reporter embedded with the 3rd Infantry Division.

The warheads – discovered in a confrontation with Saddam Hussein's Medina division about 60 miles south of Baghdad – have been transferred for testing, according to reporter Paul Strand.

A spokesman for the U.S. Army Central Command in Kuwait, Dani Burrows, told WND that her office could not confirm the report. Diane Perry said her Pentagon office had not heard the report but noted that embedded reporters often are getting stories ahead of the Defense Department.

Strand, quoting a "highly placed source," said by telephone that the American troops are not certain they found all of the Medina division's chemical weapons and fear they might be "hit by chemical shells any time now."

The captured warheads had Russian writing on them, he said.

Grain of salt please...

I just heard that on Hannity and it seems the source is a Pat Roberts embedded reporter.

I've seen no other verification. Supposedly they got the officer in charge of mixing the stuff. We'll see.

REDWAVE won't believe this...

I won't either til I hear more. Not for the same reasons that Red and others have, though.

Interesting.......

So, an embedded reporter would report a bogus story that would destroy his reputation forever, even though the story would have to be approved by the unit's CO?
After the warehouse discovery earlier this week, it's probably now policy to confirm before reporting by our military.
The Medina division of the SS would be the logical chem/bio dispersal unit for the FEBA.

I'm not dismissing it, but, with all these reports coming at us, I would just like to wait.

Woo hoo!

Now we have an excuse to restart the cold war!

Back to the good old days.

Unfortunately the naysayers will continue to scream "conspiracy" and "lies!" even after we've lost several hundred soldiers to chemical weapons.

I don't want it to happen, but I fully expect its going to be the only way to prove the case for Iraqi WMD. And even then you will get some people to claim we gassed our own people. Despite the fact that the US hasn't owned any chemical weapons since the mid 70's.

Russia never ceases to amaze me in how low down they're prepared to get.

But what amazes me is that they're in the same boat, they're fighting Islamic terrorism too.

But they still aid despotic regimes such as Syria, Iran & Iraq
Mandark!

Making statements like this would probably be why you have so many problems with naysayers refusing to take your word for stuff :D

In 1996 the U.S. Defense Department reported that their chemical arsenal amounted to 3.6 million chemical weapons.

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahaahahhahahahahahahahahahaahhahaahhahaa

What we do and what we say are completely different things. Remember how we "didn't have any biological weapons" but then somebody got a hold of US weapons-grade anthrax and mailed it to everybody? Testing revealed it came from Texas A&M around the turn of the 80/90 decade.

And nevermind those chem weapons we gave to Saddam in the 80s.

But other than that, we're clean, I swear, officer. That dope ain't mine!
