Ok....Now for the question posed. Is there some sort of symbolism that I'm missing? Your masculine hand on a dainty linen doesn't speak to me. I tend to agree with pleaz me, you aren't really showing anything about yourself. Now if it was a pic of your hand holding a paddle...... that would say something.
