Yay! Glad to hear! Although the last few days are always the ones that seem to crawl by so very slowly. :)

Well, these last few days should go pretty fast, actually, as I'm doing a course in Africa before going to see the love. Unfortunately, my internet there is limited, so he's a bit mopey :p

It's our anniversary. Six years ago today I became his submissive. We have two anniversaries. This one is when we agreed to be a D/s couple and then in Jun is the anniversary of when we first met and had my collaring ceremony.

It has been an absolutely amazing 6 years. :)

Congrats! A major feat.

I'm with him for 5 weeks starting Thursday morning..! We'll be playing house. c:

ffffff-

Sounds like fun!!

Thanks! :]

I'm worried about getting bored during the day as the only time he's taking off is half a day to pick me up from the airport. Yikes! I only sort of know his neighborhood, but I've got the feeling that I'll be very familiar with it come July..

Also, general worries about getting sick of each other, etc. Though I'm pretty sure we won't, and if we do, we already discussed how to deal with it.

Do you ever get so tired of being w/out the other person that you start to wonder if maybe you should walk away?

I get tired of being w/o him but I would never walk away. I tried to imagine my life without him once and it made me hurt so bad inside. I know I'm meant to be with him. He seems to know just what I need and want. I'll wait as long as it takes. He helps me through it with emails, calls and tasks. It's amazing what a good spanking will do as well. :)

Wow! Where in Africa?

Sorry, seela, I only just saw this post! I was down in South Africa. The course was a lot of fun :) We worked with some Rhinos, buffalo, giraffes and zebra, and did a bunch of other odds and ends. it was good times

From LDL to Married

Blitzkreiger and I were married on May 31st on the fifth anniversary of getting together online. We had a LDL for 3 1/2 years. He has been my Sir for 2 years. It has been the best 2 years of our lives. He moved in with me January 2010. We still look at each other sometimes and say we can't believe that we are together.
Believe in your dreams, because they CAN come true.

Deepest Congratulations and Happiness to you both! Thank you for sharing that dreams do come true :)

If you can make it through the distance, you can surpass anything.

My best friend is into the same lifestyle, and she's been in an online/offline D/s relationship for about 12 years.... He is her only, and always will be unless fate says otherwise. At times she feels completely torn because of not being able to be by his side when he's not around, or too busy to visit.... but each time i say what I have said above this paragraph, she always becomes stronger. =)

So to anyone who is struggling in the same way, any way rather, if you can make it through the miles apart, you'll succeed at the rest!

Hopefully some people find these words encouraging, as do I.

This made me tear up. You can never hear enough encouraging words in a LDR.
Thank you. <3

So I'm new to lit and even new to D/s. I'm not even sure if I really am a sub. (no that isn't true). Anyhow, I'm only on page 20 of this thread. I'm reading it all the way from the beginning because it's all so new to me. What I love though, is how talkative subs (i know ther are a lot of other names here, but it's after 12 AM and my brains to foggy) Anyway I just wanted to say that I am REALLY enjoying reading everyone's adventures. And thank u for having this. Especially for those of us that aren't even sure if they are in the right Dom relationship or how to find one or ... well what collars are and what they look like and how to explain to family, and how to deal with married Doms and just well EVERYTHING!!! Like I said about 12 times (lol) I'm new to this, but just reading everybody's stuff has helped as I start this new path in my life. I think... maybe? But THANK YOU!!!!! ~DD

I buy alll of my collars at petsmart. :D

Up until the visit I made, I wore a leather dog collar with a tag every hour of the day, except working hours. It pretty much was treated like a fashion statement. No one said much about it...except my 90 year old great grandma. She looked at me, then took a longer, deeper look. Then she turned to my grandpa and said "who has her locked up so tight?"

Never a moment like when you find out your great grandma is kinky.

Heh that's funny

Are collars cheaper at petsmart? I've always thought that they must be, but never bothered to check.
