i can sympathize with the both of you. My "schedule" changed this week and consequently we're losing a fairly big chunk of time together. i know i'll adapt and get used to it, but right now it feels like i am trying to talk a mile a minute when we do talk so i can fit everything in.

I was in an 8 year L/D relationship with my Master. We were only able to spend a brief amount of real life time together. We mostly talked on the phone. We were creative and kept the relationship alive for many years. We are still friends. It may seem freakish to some people, but I know that L/D relationships can work and they can be good and you can genuinely love a person who is far away.

Recently, I found a new Master. He is a real life Master who lives only about an hour away. As incredible as I thought my L/D relationship was, I now know the difference. You need to touch and be touched. I had almost forgotten that. I hope that everyone on this thread, who has someone far away, gets to be with him or her some day soon.

I only get to see my Daddy every few months but before the last time and then this time coming up some major stress producing situation occurs (for either one of us or both, both this time) which greatly effects us physically and emotionly. We both need this visit so badly. I wish my body wouldn't start falling apart when seriosly stressed. I now have constant migraines, my blood pressure is up and even my pussy is feeling the effects. Ugggh!!

Thanks Fi and myinnerslut--I've decided to take off the 5 hours that both kids are at school and just have "take care of me" time. Yoga, a bubble bath and a nap are planned. Hopefully the peacefullness will carry over once they get home. (yeah, right..lol)
