Thanks for the sweet welcome posts. I've been looking for some friends to chat with and bounce ideas, not like I can commiserate with my Mom how horny I am but my Dom won't let me touch myself, ha! That conversation is SO wrong on so many different levels. Anyway, I have been lonely on the "sub friendship" front.

My Dom does not like me on sites such as these. Not because of the sites themselves (heck, we met on a site like this!), but because I can get caught up and then I don't get my things done at home, then I'm stressed and don't drink my water and miss my bedtime, the list goes on and on. He finally did give me permission to look for some subbie friends online, but with lots of rules and one is that I am not to get on these sites during the week, well my calendar says Monday morning so I need to confess this. I didn't want to be rude and not respond to the welcomes, however, I will not be on until Friday night at the earliest :-(

Distance and correspondence submission and domination

I haven't read the whole thread, so forgive me if I am repeating anything already discussed. I have from time to time met someone on line whom I feel might have a dominant or submissive relationship with me. I find that almost all long term relationships by letter, between females at least, result in a degree of dominance /submission, and many historical correspondences tend to bear this out. I am naturally somewhat dominant, and have a long term relationship with a submissive woman (over five years) and we have no intention of meeting, and there is no real "punishment" apart from the occasional "cold shoulder" or gap between letters to signal disapproval, and this soon brings her to her senses.

I do feel it is much better to develop a d/s relatonship with someone you know through some other shared interest, creative writing, poetry, painting, knitting, a hobby etc. and let the d/s develop if it will. It adds something thrilling, but is not absolutely necessary to everyone. Advertising directly for a submissive or dominant is, to my mind, likely to attract "the wrong type of person."

I should say that I DO recognise my superiors as well, and had a thrilling submissive relationship with a younger woman which survived for three years, and then fell apart explosively over a political argument about four years ago. No prizes for guessing what it was.

I have been off line for a few days, but it seems forever. When I get the chance to catch up it makes me long for a cup of good coffee, and girl talk with good friends. I'm grateful all of you share so openly, it makes me less lonely.

D is back to work, I know it will be a challenge for him, but he is a strong person and will do what is best for him. I continue to struggle with the decreased communication, but I know that is how it is...and will be.

I hope your day does pick up..i felt a bit like that myself the last few days. Just a bit stressed...so today I took a walk in the sunshine followed by some retail therapy and it certainly helped. I can recommend it!
