Yeah I am good thanks hon. A little tired...had a friend to stay and she broke up with someone whilst they were staying at my house. Not the best. She is really in bits...so had a slightly traumatic weekend.

Things are good with my Master *grins* and even with all this and the fact he has had a really busy week at work we have spent quite a bit of time together on IM and the phone.

I have been busy trying to sort out arrangements for later in the year for my trip to go see him. So all in all quite a busy time really!

I'm hoping to go back to NZ for a visit next March - the district I lived most of my life in is having its 100 year celebrations. By then it will be 3 years since I was last there....Master is keen for me to go but I'm worried how He will manage His health without me......lol He says He will manage, He has before and He will again, but I can't help being a worrywart

10:45 at night and im sitting in my kitchen baking cookies for A (they are in the oven, so i have a few minutes to kill) the cookies are for tommorrow, our 2 year anniversary. i am just taking a minute to reflect in amazment that weve made it this far, especially with the distance at times.

oh, and you can all have a cookie when they are done. they are coconut shortbread cookies and i have been making them since 4:30 in the afternoon.

Oh really? Thats great Cat! Did you get homesick much when you left? I know obviously being with F went a long way to making it al good lol, but I wonder if you found it dificult.

Yes I am going and feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement, which I guess is completely normal. But I am not sure what basis I am going on yet you see. I am going with a friend, but not yet certain if we are going for a holiday or going to work there for a few months....I will probably know alittle more in a week or so. We had a meeting last week to look at the work opportunities which are definitely there for us. Its such a long way to go (lol bearing my hatred of flying!) I am tempted to stay a little while and give me and my Master a decent amount of time with eachother.

I miss my daughter and granddaughter terribly, miss the nature and culture, but remind myself I don't miss the heat/humidity combo I lived in, the drought they are in the grips of, or the politics. I find I am OK with it most of the time now, until the BBC puts on some documentary on Oz and then I can be reduced to a sobbing heap depending what they are showing.

As to your choices for your trip, if it isn't going to creat problems with work and family back home I would suggest going for an extended time. You know things are going to go great with that certain man, so yes, more time together would be great, as would be a chance to get a feel for the place on more than just a tourist level. Though I haven't made it there as yet, I know WA is an incredible place to go. Hope you can work it all out and have fun.

LOL, if she is anything like my mum, she will be looking forward to living her travels through your experiences...may not be first hand, but much better than never experiencing it at all. When I send photos home, my mother raves about them for weeks, shows all the neighbours and anyone else who will look.

Yeah I am sure and she is also very selfless and would definitely put my needs over her own. I think thats what makes it so difficult or me...because I know although she will put a brave face on it, she will really miss me.
She was to all extents and purposes a single parent, with the help and support of my grandparents, but because of that I think we have always been really close...socialising together. We went to restaurants together since I was able to sit up at a table unaided lol.

But you are right, I think she will take immense pleasure out of my own
