A and i were talking about our upcoming two year anniversary (its in the end of may) and he and i agreed to get me pierced as a more permanant mark then my collar (which i do take off to sleep, even though i wear it all the time while imawake) but less then a tattoo (which i have problems with due to my religion). i am EXCITED. i dont know where i will be getting pierced yet, since he hasnt decided yet. the only restriction is i have to be able to hide it when i go into a school since i am studying education.

With this upcoming trip being my third and final trip before I move, I am really looking to push some boundaries this time. I spent $6 at a craft shop today and got a few nice toys out of it. I am really looking to be pushing some of the edges, not to the extremes, as I don't want to do that until I don't have to be 2200+ miles away any more, just in case some things come up a bit later.

I am looking forward to getting out to the edges, as the first trip was a getting started for both of us, and last time due to some circumstances I was not able to push as I would have liked. (Did have a couple of great scenes tho.)

I have tested it, and its a stingy bitch.

4.50 for the leather cords
.79 for the dowel in the handle
1.99 for the superglue to hold it together
and about an hour of my time.

your handle there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you painted the dowl and then wraped it in the leather cord, left a small space and wrapped the end. So the end isn't capped at all it just has the cord butted up to the end of it?

Oh and how many falls do you have on there, I can't quite count them.

And what was the thickness of your dowl, because I got one that was 1.5" and it cost me $1.48.

And are the knots at the end just for feel?

the Dowel is 5/8"
The falls are glued length wise along the dowel, then its wrapped with another strip of leather (using super glue to hold it in place.)
The knot at the base end of the dowel is to hold the wrap in place, and cuz it looks cool.
The knot at the business end of the dowel is to hold the wrap in place, and to keep the falls together.
There are 7 falls.
At the base end, the leather strips go off the dowel and are tied off with the end of the wrapping.
No paint was used.
The knots at the end of the falls are to add velocity, and sting factor... so yeah for feel...

2-4 pony beads on eac fall which also means 2-4 knots on each fall

fun foam wraped around the handle to give it a bit more cousion

leather wrapped around the fun foam because hey it's leather it looks cooler and feels nicer.

And you can't see the other side of it, but there are tacks hamered into it where the leather butts together, and also around the top for added sucurity for the falls.

I used a tacky glue for this. it took time to dry and while it was drying in each stage I took rubber bands and wrapped them around it to hold everything tight.
