Had a friend once who found another woman online that would email her tasks to do. My friend was just testing the waters as a sub so she needed someone to take her along slowly. This woman did, and before too long my friend was doing some unbelievable things all because her mistress commanded her to.

One of the absolute worst things about being in a LDR is when the other person gets sick, especially really sick. I am unable to talk to him on the phone because I don't want to wake him up if he is sleeping and he needs his rest. His voice sounds so bad when I do talk to him I don't want him to strain to talk to me. I just want him to get better. He doesn't even have enough energy to type.

His wife knows about me accepts that I am in his life but it is more of a don't ask, don't tell relationship. I have no relationship with her, so I can't call her. I have to depend on her to take care of him the way he has always cared for her when she has beeen hurt or sick.

This is so frustrating!! At least his we have an agreement that if goes into the hospital or anything extremely serious his best friend will call me.

I want to be there to take care of him, to make him feel better. But of course I have my family here and my job that I can't just get up and leave.

I am so worried...

Oh how I know.. I am in the same position you know.. I think I am going to ask him to ensure that someone will call me as well.. and I have to rely on her to care for him as well at least for now.. =0) So my thoughts are prayers go out to your daddy and you..

This is one I know all too well, and it rips my heart out. There is precious little in this world that can make me feel worse than to know that someone I lov eis crying and I can't reach out my hand and touch them.

How do you know if the PYL you meet online is REAL (ex. they don't only want online sex)?
What kinds of questions can/should you ask?
What type of things should they tell me or ask me?

I am new to this and feel very uncertain in this. I am not only intersted in someone to give me tasks to do but to get to know each other.

Time is the best way to weed out the wankers -- and trust me, the wankers go away quickly if they do not get what they want -- ie, online sex.

If you are looking for a real life relationship, get to the phone as soon as possible and set up a safe, public meeting in a public place sooner rather than later. Until then, taking everything with a grain of salt....

I knew this would be the place where I would find other who understood. I haven't heard from him in over 36 hrs, which is alot for us...we talk at least twice a day. I can only assume that he is resting and doing ok. I did try calling him but his phone must be off.

The key, IMO, if you want something lasting that can go into RT, is to focus on the getting to know one and other at first.

Dude, the wait sucks... it took quite a while for rose and I to finally meet, but damn it was worth it.

it was more than worth it for me. Granted, I only waited about 6 months before I even met my master face to face and then another 5 months before I moved in with him (moving about 3 states away from where I was). And, I would love to add that we met here on lit, and that we plan on marrying.
