disingenuous. : lacking in candor; also : giving a false appearance of simple frankness : calculating.

We are taught from childhood, that pure unadulterated honesty, is not always appropriate.

We are instructed how to navigate through situations.

We have consumer protections with warnings, and we have laws.

The sticking point is that someone is harmed before the warning goes out, and an arrest is made after the crime is committed.

The harm may be non existent, and the crime may be a frame up.

The lawyers get involved, and the law may be twisted and distorted.

There are a multitude of possibilities, when people are involved.

Is there a word that encompasses what Trump, is ?

He is genuine Trump.

(Is genuine Trump an oxymoron?)

But, what is genuine Trump ?

The last thing that I would expect from Trump, is sincerity.

But, Trump's sincerity was never the point, when applied to his success at "winning."

Does anyone expect Trump to live up to his proclamations ?

Trump once again, stirs the media/ journalists into anger.

Trump has been using people's expectations, against them, for all of his life.

It is his well sharpened knife, that he has been using to carve what he wants from life.

The Gritters 1990 (film)

A gritter cannot resist "taking" another grifter, because that is a real "win."

Trump grifted all of The United States of America.

At least six electors have vowed to attempt to block Donald Trump

At least six electors — members of the Electoral College whose votes elect the President — have vowed to cast their ballots in an attempt to block Donald Trump from winning an Electoral College majority, Politico reported Tuesday. The presidential electors are mostly former Bernie Sanders supporters who hail from Washington state and Colorado.

If the electors turn out to be "faithless electors," their votes could narrow Trump's margin-of-victory in the Electoral College over Hillary Clinton. The voting is scheduled to be held when the Electoral College meets Dec. 19, according to Politico.

One elector, Michael Baca, said in a statement he wouldn’t vote for Trump.

“The Founding Fathers created the Electoral College as the last line of defense, and I think we must do all that we can to ensure that we have a Reasonable Republican candidate who shares our American values,” he reportedly said.

Let's see how Trump likes it when people lie to him.:)

Why should politicians be honest when the people attacking them are not?

Maybe you are being ironic when you define disingenuous then throw out your statements. Why does Trump need to hold himself to a higher standard than you hold yourself?

The last thing that I would expect from Trump, is sincerity.

Are you sincere? Do you post to stir up anger?

Trump grifted all of The United States of America.

Is this honest or calculating? I would say Trump is playing by the same rules you play by. Too bad there isn't a best man to win. It's always the best of the worst.

When Trump was asked what he knew that others did not, Mr. Trump demurred, saying only, “You'll find out on Tuesday or Wednesday."

January 4, has come and gone.

Where is our revelation ?

On Tuesday night, Trump wavered again, implying that his promised revelation was delayed because his intelligence briefing on the hacking incidents had been moved to Friday. (NBC News reported that briefing had always been scheduled for Friday.) Then, in another tweet Wednesday morning, he promoted a claim from WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange that the secret-spilling group’s source wasn’t the Russian government, accepting that claim without evidence while doubting his own classified intelligence briefings to the contrary.

The latest speculation, is that it was an American behind the hacking, and that the hacking was done while in America.

Who would be so fanatical in their devotion to Trump, that they would stoop to hacking the Democrats ?

Julian Assange threw a spanner into the investigation, saying earlier this week that Russia wasn’t the source of Democratic Party emails that his secret-spilling group published—a claim then amplified in a tweet from president-elect Donald Trump. But America’s top spies have made clear that no statement from Assange, even one backed by the next president, will sway their finding that the Kremlin is behind those political attacks.

Russian government not the source of WikiLeaks emails

January 03, 2017

"We can say, we have said, repeatedly that over the last two months that our source is not the Russian government and it is not a state party,” Assange said.

Assange assured the public that he is 1,000 percent sure that there was no Russian involvement, without providing any evidence in the interview or in response to our inquiry. The facts we know contradict Assange’s assurance, and the situation is much too complex for him to make such a sweeping statement.

Further, he does not disclose any of the independent assessments that have been made about Guccifer 2.0, who has claimed credit for providing WikiLeaks with DNC emails. We award Assange Three Pinocchios for his distortion of the facts. Obviously, we will also keep an eye on this and update as further information becomes available.

If Trump does seat himself in the President's chair, might there be a reward for Julian Assange, for being so "helpful" ?

Taking Aim at Trump, Leaders Strongly Affirm Findngs on Russian Hacking

Lt. General Michael T. Flynn (Trump's choice for national security advisor) does not seem to be garnering much respect.

December 21, 2016

General Mike Flynn, recently met with Heinz-Christian Strache — the head of Austria’s far-right Freedom Party, which was established by former Nazis after World War II.

The alleged meeting between Flynn and Heinz-Christian Strache, which was first reported by The New York Times, took place several weeks ago, according to Strache. In his posting about it, Strache also announced signing a “cooperation pact” with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Donald Trump’s Pick For National Security Adviser Loves To Stoke Islamophobia

Michael Flynn has called Islam a “cancer

In August, Flynn said that Islam, which has around 1.6 billion followers around the world, was a “political ideology” that “hides behind being a religion.” He also described it as a “cancer” because terrorist groups instructed followers to “get into the bloodstream of the opposition.” He has tweeted that fearing Muslims is “rational.”

Criticized for his management style, Flynn was fired as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2014 after clashing with senior intelligence officials.

Donald Trump's favorite general, Michael Flynn, was fired as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency a couple of years ago. The circumstances have long been a bit mysterious. On one side, the story is that he was pushed out due to a revolt of his senior staff over his abusive and chaotic management style. Flynn himself says it was because he was tough on Islamic terrorism, and the weenies in the White House didn't like it.

In any case, Flynn has been "right wing nutty" ever since, in Colin Powell's words, so naturally he's now in line for a top position in the Trump administration. Possibly National Security Advisor. But whatever you think of Flynn, he was the head of an intelligence agency and therefore ought to have a pretty good BS detector. Apparently he doesn't:

Flynn was responding Sunday to an assertion by Robby Mook, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, on CNN that Russia was behind the hack and release of tens of thousands of internal Democratic National Committee emails...

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/michael-flynn-twitter-226091

"The corrupt Democratic machine will do and say anything to get #NeverHillary into power. This is a new low,” he tweeted, sharing a link to a tweet from a user named Saint Bibiana (@30PiecesofAG_) who wrote “>Cnn implicated. ‘The USSR is to blame!’ … Not anymore, Jews. Not anymore.”

That user’s tweet linked to a post from CNN Politics sharing the clip of Mook’s remarks.

Flynn issued an apology a few hours later, saying “the earlier retweet was a mistake” and that he meant to tweet only the original post from CNN Politics. The tweet has since been deleted.

And if, as his adviser Kellyanne Conway suggests, Trump is receiving information from other sources, it’s unclear why it would be more credible or accurate than that provided by the intelligence community. Moreover, neither Trump’s record of being either misinformed or simply uninformed about policy matters foreign and domestic, nor his choice of Mike Flynn, who has a penchant for lending credence to unsubstantiated conspiracy theories, as his national security adviser, provide much reason to believe him over the consensus view of the intelligence community.
