she was playing at school with two of her little friends....she was in a wagon tied to a bike. one friend was on the bike and one friend was pushing....they stopped suddenly and she didn't....hit her head on the wagon and cut open her eyelid.....just at the break of the bone, below the brow.....it looks nasty....she is 5 and the cut is a good inch long.....*sigh*....at least it is not on her lip or someplace real noticable.......(trying to see good out of this)....considering she cut her chin this summer and got stiches there!!!!!

Blood, blood everywhere! And his nose was flattened on that side! By the time the doc got into the treatment room in the ER (after we'd waited a few hours!), it was un-flattened again, but broken.

Of course. It is always that way. The next day he was out running and jumping and everything else, just like normal and I was a nervous wreck, worrying that he would hurt it again!

Two years of turmoil, sacrifice, planning, and dreaming is about to congeal within my grasp. But the disspointment is that the sharing of this jubilation is causing concern and resentment. More demands of my time...which is the one thing I cannot control.
