Ok.....a few folks have asked for details about a few things
I tend to tell a lot about myself & the things I do in posts here, and a few other people's names come up

I don't know how long this thread will live, or if anyone cares, but I thought I'd at least post a scorecard so people could keep the players straight (so to speak )

First off, there's me, James, 33 y/o Top

I am currently (and for just over a year now) dating PoutyKitten, my 6' tall redhead sweetie. It's an LDR, she lives a couple of hours away, but we manage to spend most of our weekends together & log a lot of online & phone time. So far, she's put up with me We're a bit kinky but we don't really incorporate D/s in to our relationship much.

Then there's Moondusksub.....she lives here near me, and is a baby *sigh* who's just turned 20. I've known her online since she was 18. We met IRL for the first time a few months ago and over the last 2 months have had a couple of wonderful play sessions. I refer to her as my "subbie girl" but really she's just a good friend I play with from time to time. Yes, she & Pouty not only know ABOUT each other, they know each other IRL. Pouty helped me "ring in" Moon's birthday, much to Moon's chagrin....Pouty might actually be more of a sadist & provocateur than *I* am

Pouty & I were introduced by our good mutual friend Porphry/Porphyrion, who used to be a regular on Lit & is now seldom seen. Porphry has at various times been my sub, my lover, mine & my psycho ex's lover, mine & Pouty's lover, and right now just a very good friend

Next up at bat (altho she'd prefer Crop) is WynEternal. When I first got in to D/s Wyn was a training subbie and then Slave to a switchable Mistress who I ended up being Dom to. So by extension I gained Wyn as a sub/slave. The relationship didn't last long or work out, but we've all stayed friends And since it was all platonic Wyn & I tease one another unmercifully about missed opportunities

Then there's MystiqDrgn, who's been around here a bit......She's the long time partner/sub/lover to my Mentor, Mistress Tyr. Tyr & Mystiq were 2 of my very first lifestyle friends, and still some of the best. I've learned a lot from them both & love them like family.

You'll hear me refering to 2 ex's. My EX ex/EX/evil Ex was the girl I got with a year after I finished high school & who I was with for almost 10 years until things broke down in a mass of personal & financial problems that finally caved in over her multiple infidelities culminating in one with a married man, all the while as she accused ME of cheating on HER, altho she was the reason Wyn & I stayed platonic (I promised no sex & I meant it). Bitter? Me? You BET! I missed a shot at Wyn's ass for a bitch who was screwing around on ME the whole time If you'd seen Wyn's ass you'd know what I gave up! In fact, I could post a pic, complete with crop prints....but that wouldn't be nice

Lastly there's my psycho ex. I got with her a while after my EX. She was young & beautiful & had a son who I grew to love very dearly, right along with her. We had some good & interesting times. Unfortunately, she proved to be severely mentally ill (I'm talking needing constant medication & supervision ill) and her refusal to cope with her condition or follow treatment and the way it dragged all of our lives down forced me to break it off in a WAY overlong & protracted process that unfortunately also cost me contact with the boy who called me "Dad".

Ok, so there's the explanation of who's who in my life & how we all connect that some have asked about. Any MORE dirty details you all want?

Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you have difficulty juggling your responisibilities to the ladies?

It's happened in the past, and I've tried to learn from those experiences.
I generally have a primary relationship and I make it clear to anyone else I choose to involve (and who chooses to be involved with ME!) that the primary relationship comes first
It takes a TON of communication
If my primary starts demanding all my time & attention or being resentful of my other relationship(s) then I deal with that issue as best I can. I'm up front about who I am when I start a realtionship who I am and how I live. If the person I'm with can't handle it (after actually LIVING it....I wouldn't get with someone who didn't think she could), we try & adapt.
More CONSTANT communication
Balancing time & attention are the main things. It's already tough for Pouty & myself becuase of the distance involved, but that works out up to a point in that I see Moon at times when I wouldn't be able to see Pouty, or Pouty & I see her together when Pouty visits me.
It's an immense help that Pouty likes her & is involved with her too. That's made a lot of things easier so far.
Moon has a busy life too, with college, and knew from the beginning we'd only be getting together occasionally for play. Up till recently she had a 'nila boyfriend too & quite likely will seek another, so again our time is limited.
So far, it's working. I'm pretty lucky to have found 2 wonderful ladies who put up with me

I understand that. As this is long distance, I know I would be of a mind to have some one local to "ease the tension" every once in a while.

Someone asked about how James handles the relationships and how the ladies feel about it...
First me and James have been friends for a little over two years now, and that is most important, and what I treasure more than being topped. Plus I am always busy and full time is not something I am looking for currently or in the near future.
The hardest is explaining to the nilla men that I dont want a commitment...lol...
As for Pouty, she is beyond wonderful. I really like talking to her about things (and I think we both have a bit of smartassness in our blood ::grins:: poor James)
Secondly, I understand James' situation and I am totally fine with it cause it works with my own situation. Put simply it just works....

I've mentioned (for instance) my meeting Pet a few times, or my experiences with Thirsty, but they don't come up CONSTANTLY in my conversation, nor do they appear in photos with me all the time, so I don't get the questions

And it's also more dificult for me to put elements of D/s in to my main relationship
I've always said I'm a Top, not a Dom, becuase I don't want the additional responsibility on top of that inherent in a serious relationship
If I start mixing D/s in to my main relationship it blurs the lines
It's not a playful game I can turn on & off
Plus it takes on too much of an aura (with a non-submissive regular partner) of "Hey, go get the rope, tie me up, and beat me"
That holds no thrill for me
It becomes a game of being topped from the bottom for the other's pleasure with no return or power exchange

So this has become one of the areas MissTaken asked about where we're striving for balance

Joking aside, Pouty really ISN'T submissive at ALL and in some situations has shown a lot of eagerness to assist me in play with others
This had led to the VERY intersting element of her becoming oncreasingly Toppy with Moon

I truly appreciate your honesty - thank you! I can see the benefits in an open relationship, as long as everyone is cool with it. My only problem is that I get too attached if I'm only seeing that one person. So, I can relate totally when you say that having some one local would help. I can only picture myself, and I know I would be jealous, unless I had some one on the side as well to keep me company occasionally.
