Almost 1,000 posts and you've only been here since last month? Wow! I was going to give you advice for a newbie always ask if they're married as one of your first questions. (Assuming it matters to you if they're married, of course.) But I'm not sure you qualify for newbie advice anymore at almost 1,000 posts.

Interesting question- is newbie status determined by membership length or number of posts?

If you make it a year (I haven't even been here a year yet) you'll be an old historical figure on the board. You'll be able to join in the "remember so and so" threads and also talk about old favorite threads. Kind of like walking both to and from school up hill in a snow storm back in the good 'ole days.
