How does it feel? I mean they seem to go to great lengths (pun intended) to make dildos look like the real thing and I was just wondering how close they feel to the real thing? on a 1 - 10 scale 10 being "it feels the same" and 1 being "not even close."

I don't have dildos (the desire's not there), but I would say, no, they wouldn't allow me to enjoy intercourse longer. They might cause good feelings, but a significant part of pleasure from sex for me comes from the fact that the cock's attached to a real, live person who can feel, touch, respond, move certain ways, pulse, get more excited, etc. So, a piece of glass/plastic/silicone/whatever might feel good, but it's never going to feel like sex to me because I KNOW it's not attached to a person. A strap-on might feel more realistic, but even that's not going to be a likeness of sex.

Thank you for the great perspective. I had originally wanted to know if the dildo felt realistic or not and it had not occured to me that it's not the actual dildo but the sexual act without your partner that may make the difference.
