Digichat failure

Ok I've been having problems getting on to the Digichat for a week or so and its starting to irritate now!

Viewing the source says" We're sorry, but our chat application requires a Java compatible browser in order to run.</applet>"

I searched the forums and attenpted all the solutions suggested

These include

Reinstall Java VM (DONE)
Try a Different Browser (Opera installed)
Clear Cache(Done)
Install Java platfor from Sun (DONE)
Update Windows (Fully updated)

And now i'm out of ideas, and Java works fine on every other site!

Any suggestions?

You've done about all you can do.

The specific program I use for JAVA is:

Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_03.

Opera and IE are very similar.

I would suggest using Netscape or Mozilla.

Both are free and not as "buggy" as IE.

ok, i have the exact same version of Java installed, and so far as I'm aware nothing changed on my system at all!

Any idea what can be causing this or do I have to just give up, which I REALLY don't want to do...

I have tried to log in a number of times, all I get is" digichat loading please wait" so I wait
and wait
and wait
and wait
and nothing happens???
any ideas please

Okay so I am having the same problem as stargazer... I am new to the chat and discussion board and when trying to log into chat it says digichat loading please wait... but it never loads... any ideas?

ok, i got round it... but you aint going to like it.......

I did a Full OS reinstall, and Now it works again.....

I went to "find" found the applet and deleted it but digichat still says its loading but doesn't

same for me stargazer! Found it, deleted it... still says loading and doesnt.
