Digichat failure

Ok I've been having problems getting on to the Digichat for a week or so and its starting to irritate now!

Viewing the source says" We're sorry, but our chat application requires a Java compatible browser in order to run.</applet>"

I searched the forums and attenpted all the solutions suggested

These include

Reinstall Java VM (DONE)
Try a Different Browser (Opera installed)
Clear Cache(Done)
Install Java platfor from Sun (DONE)
Update Windows (Fully updated)

And now i'm out of ideas, and Java works fine on every other site!

Any suggestions?

No, I'm in the UK, I've tried everyone elses fixes, but noone evre3 seems to have posted a solution!

I have never tried Digichat, but have had difficulties from time to time logging onto messengers, but I' on dial-up and the bandwidth requirement may not be met.

Read the rest of the threads under a search for digichat, you will see we in the UK are the latest victims of digicrap. From what I can gather it has something to do with Digicrap placing a netblock on certain IP's because of alleged abuse!

Your IP is, apparently, supposed to mail support@digichat.com for a solution. Mine point blank refused to play ball, so unless digicrap sorts it out their end then I am buggered....... or not, lol, as I cant access the chat.
