The difference between a madman and a genius is that a madman sees what he wishes to see, and the genius sees what truly is.. the world is mad

Sanity is the gossamer thin shroud of lies and self serving delusions that we as humanity, haphazardly drape accross the truth of reality. to protect our precious preconceived notions, and innocent outlook upon life itself.

You haven't seen Harry Potter yet, and you're upset about it, aren't you? Well, you can come over my house and see it, just so long as you leave your depressing and disturbingly true comments.

Well at least it makes ya think a bit...

also I own harry potter :)

If the world was not a mad place, it would hardly be any fun at all.

I prefer to think of myself as "Fucking warped beyond all definition of sanity, and beyond the realms of normal thought itself" than just a mere madman.

A madman is a person

whose idea has not worked.

A genius is a person whose idea, HAS worked.

By any stretch, Howard Hughes was mad, though because of his success and wealth he was deemed a genius.

I like this, but I think it comes down to something simple: beard length.
