OK...had a pretty bad experience...i went to my friend's dorm and we were messing around, and when we wanted to have sex, it wouldn't fit. She was pretty wet, but i wasn't even able to get the tip in. We didn't have lube or anything, donno if that would have helped...any ideas?

did you try fingers first? Just because you are wet doesn't mean you are relaxed or open enough for intercourse.
My suggestion: give her a full body massage, followed by oral and use your fingers, when you can comfortably insert 2-3 fingers in her, then try intercourse again.

More lube and perhaps warm her up with a toy, either a dildo or a vibrator. Personally, I'd rather have the vibe but that's me.

Did you try lube on the condom (after you put it on obviously)?those suckers can dry out pretty fast, I find most of them a total bastard to put on, i've lost count of the number of the sodding things I've twanged across the room trying to get them over the ole fella. Once I've wrestled the welly in place most of the lube they stick on em tends to be over my hands, the walls, ceiling, carpet etc etc.
