What do you not like about Signal? It seems to work quite well. The only thing I don't like is that to record a voice message you'd better get it right first time, because once you release the record button it sends the message straight away, whether you're happy with it or not. Which I suppose is okay for incoherent grunts and groans, but is less good for story telling or something like that.

Have you used Telegram? If you did side by side you’d see how janky Signal is in comparison.

Shallow dislike-the stickers are lame and there’s a lot less options. It also looks low definition like they’re rationing pixels.

But the OPSEC issue is you’re not able to Delete both sides of the conversation at anytime like on Telegram. That’s a huge concern for me.

Nobody I know uses them. Telegram itself does though, to show you all their "new features". That I don't give a shit about. And it would sit there, blinking at me, nagging me to watch it. I hate it.

Easily dealt with by using the voice recorder app. Then just send that file
