Hard to tell. They're both the same story, with slightly different editing, but with single stories for each pen name dating back to '02 and '04, the world may never know.

I think that the most that can be done is the anomally reported to Laurel and Manu - its up to them in the end to remove one or both.......

The most recent version received much needed editing, although it's still far from perfect. I'd guess it could be the same author re-posting it under a new name because he forgot his old login.
