I don't understand their system or titles, but stories seem to imply they did, or will, or might.

The winner is a Socialist.

There is no real winner - yet. No party has enough seats to rule alone. There will have to be a long-winded attempt to build a coalition that will last. Until then, Angela Merkel is still Chancellor.

Them parliamentary systems are so confusing.

So, what, they do like Israel and have four or five elections in a couple of years and end up as if there have been none?

With one leader for 16 years? Germany is far more stable than that.

Just another label for collectivist authoritarians.

They just can't help themselves.

There is more than one kind of leftist, and the differences matter. In 1920s Germany, the Communists considered their chief enemies not the Nazis but the Social Democrats, whom they called "Social Fascists." A Popular Front alliance might have kept the Nazis out of power.

As usual, Cornus doesn't understand European or any political labels.

Social Democrats are not socialists in the US pejorative terminology.

Almost all German political parties, but perhaps not all the smaller ones, are conservative with a small c. Germans want stability, not socialism.

Any coalition is likely to change little.

O look, oggbashan talking shit he can't back up and following it up with a bunch of "So the fuck what?? What does that have to do with anything I said. " bewww shit.

Social Democrats are not socialists in the US pejorative terminology.

Good thing I dien't call them socialist nor have I ever abused the term as "the US pejorative terminology" whatever in the fuck that is.

If you come at me at least learn to fucking read first and actually address what I said.

Fucking piece of shit.

That does not describe social democrats, in Germany or anywhere else. The SDP is no more authoritarian than Merkel's Christian Democrats.

As I said above, Cornus has no understanding of politics. He just uses labels he finds on right-wing sites with no knowledge of what they mean or that they are wholly inappropriate. Sad.

You have to understand that most Americans don't give a shit what happens i Germany.

No more authoritarian then Merkel? LMFAO!!!

They aren't anymore authoritarian than a totalitarian control freak!!

LOL

And yes it describes them everywhere.

Again, oggbashan is talking shit because his leftist fee fees are hurt.

Like Peck, can't say how I've ever used the term liberal wrong....just doesn't accept his lies about it.

What I don't understand is why so many insist we keep a military presence there.

Fuck em, we should leave in the middle of the night.
