Diablo 3 servers just crashed

I was playing with my demon hunter in act 2 nightmare difficulty and the D3 servers suddenly crashed without warning.

I wonder when they'll be back up.

The D3 master servers are shut down for several hours every other day for maintenance.

Apparently they are constantly breaking down and having to be repaired.

I guess this is what happens when literally tens of millions of people are using the server bandwidth.
