Peeks in..... Merry Christmas to you DGO!!!

I survived all the stuff I had to cover. Made 3 trips to the VA in Tampa in the past week and have to head back tomorrow and again Thursday. I got a call last week from one of my Wounded Warriors who was stuck in there with penumonia and no one had called, visited, etc... So I went over to visit. Then arranged some Christmas gifts and delivered them yesterday, then brought him back some Chrissy Dinner afterwards. He's in an electric wheelchair & I had no way to take him to the family dinner and that new house is NOT gimpi friendly let alone a wheelchair.

He called his sister and let her know where he was. Most all of his family is up north. So he managed to talk to a brother and one sister yesterday, got some gifts and real food... so all in all a much better Christnas then he'd have otherwise.

I was awakened at midnight myself. The villiage where I live set off 20 minutes of fireworks.

We had a low of 13 yesterday. Warm compared to our temperature of 7 now. Another good day to stay inside.

Plus is better than minus any day. My son told me it was cold in NC! It's above 30....I told him he was getting weak.

My folks who are in NC have had all kinds of winter challenges. They got 10 inches of snow a week or two ago and there is still some snow/ice in places on their drive. It just isn't doing there what it usually does after snow. It hasn't warmed up.

We've had small amounts of snow. I think the biggest was around an inch that started on Christmas. I don't know which I dislike the most, the snow or the arctic temperatures.
