Yes there was a time threads, games were more intersting than they have become. Still I have made some delightful friends here and so I do like to return. Still it can get old. I believe I took three days off this weekend. I returned on Tuesday this time.

Hope you are having a good afternoon and that you have a good night. We are supposed to be getting some rain followed by snow tonight and tomorrow. I'm hoping we have mostly rain. :)

Same weather here.

I had a good day. I got my prize for a card contest and my winning card is on the homepage of the thread!

{{{{{{DGO}}}}}}} Congratulations and thank you for sharing it with us. It is absolutely delightful. :)

Thank you. It did double duty. It was a card for a swap and I entered it into the contest. I got paper, ribbon and flowers as a prize. I was thrilled.

Did you know...

... that today is Mountain out of a Molehill Day? In 1943, a crack appeared in a cornfield in central western Mexico. Within a week, the crack turned into a mound of earth, then a 450-foot hill, and finally a 1200-foot volcano, eventually covering a 10 square mile area. The volcano of Paricutin now holds the distinction of being the only volcano on the planet born in modern times.
