Well I guess I won't visit but once......just to say that I've been there. I prefer implied sexual situations....the ones that leave a lot to the imagination.

I'm working on a story now. I hit a brick wall with all of my writing projects. Other than today, I've written one sentence in two weeks!

I have a friend who has read all of my stories. Yesterday she emailed me and told me she'd finished another one. She has one more she hasn't read. That prompted me to get busy. She also motivated me to write one story. She liked the main characters so much, she wanted to read more about them. I think I have 12 novellas completed and I'm tweaking one that's really finished...... I think.

That happens to me a lot. I was working on one story and heard 'Autumn Leaves' on the radio. In a week I had started and completed the story.

Even if you don't like what you wrote, it will get the mind working......just write!

I keep thinking that I need to get back to my poetry, but can't convince myself.

I've written a lot of poetry, but the poem has to be there......I can't just sit down and write a poem. Not like a short story.

I'm the opposite. I can't write stories without inspiration, but my best poetry comes when I'm regimented about it and sit down no matter what.

That's really interesting, Blue. I think poets are amazing, they convey in 50 words a sentiment that takes me 1000! I had asked a friend to read a story I was working on and said it was about 3500 words. He asked "Have they even met yet?" I get wordy.
