The sun made a appearance, surprising everyone so I didn't get rained on.

TGIF {{{{{DGO}}}} The sun just did that here! Quite a surprise to say the least. It was a cold gloomy day yesterday. I was home until I went out to get my H1N1 flu shot. It went well. Arm barely hurts at all. Went and did my exercising today. Think I am home for good.

Who died on this day?

1963 - Aldous Huxley (69)
1963 - C.S.Lewis (64)
1963 - John f. Kennedy (46)
1963 - J.D. Tippid (39)
1980 - Mae West (87)
1986 - Scatman Crothers (76)

For those of you who were alive on November 22, 1963, do you remember where you were when the news was broadcast?

Came to wish "DGO" & "Kayte" a Good Morning
Hope you both had a half decent Weekend ;)

Good!

On the same youtube page there was a link to a 3 year old singing the song! I can't imagine letting a child sing that and putting it online.

I agree with you on that. There are some things that just aren't right. Why spoil the innocence of childhood?

Exactly. I can imagine the parents complaining that they can't do a thing with the child in a few years. That or he'll be whipping their ass!

Did you know...

... that today is the birthday of the Nobel Prize? Alfred Nobel, inventor of dynamite, established the Nobel Prizes in 1895. The first such prizes were awarded in 1901. Nobel's last will left approximately 94% of his worth to the establishment of five prizes (physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature, and peace) to "those who, during the preceding year, shall have conferred the greatest benefit on mankind."

Did you know...

... that today is the anniversary of Pong? On November 29, 1972, Atari Corporation introduced Pong, an early video game popular both at home and at video arcades. Despite simplistic graphics, Pong started a craze. Atari, founded by Nolan Bushnell, sold video games as well as computers on which to play the games.

I remember thinking how hard it was to play.
