... that today is National Siblings Day? Take your brothers and sisters out to lunch today. Don't have any? Take someone else's sibling out to lunch!

do i have to? i'm not especially happy with either sibling right now.

I lived very close to the library before I moved. During the summer my son and I would go two or three times a week. The other activities were as big a draw as the books. It wasn't until my knee gave out that I stopped visiting as much. Now I use booksfree.com, which is good since there's no library close to me now.

Went very often when a child. When the branch library closed in my area the parents got access for us in that area to use libraries of other communities as there wasn't a city library very close anymore. One other thing they did was to have bookmobile service every 2 weeks a few blocks from home. That was always a fun thing to visit in the evening.

I am pretty close to the library where I now live. I make use of their website to put on reserve books I want and then go over and pick them up. Since I have to go out to get my mail anyway it isn't that much farther once in my van.

I loved the bookmobile as a child! We lived only a few blocks from a library branch, but the bookmobile came to the school. The librarian who ran it was great. She finally refused to let me check out "Farmer Boy" again and introduced me to other Laura Ingalls Wilder books and books of the same ilk.

It finally stopped raining here..........for the time being. We have rain in the forecast for the next two days!

With so many flights being cancelled and the storms, it's amazing anything is moving.

Not only are the plane passengers dealing with all of the bumps rough weather puts in; now correcting for the too cozy relationship between the FAA and the carriers is causing even more angst!
