Teen years are great! The kids are weird, but I like weird.
I have a 19 yr old daughter (moved out, thankfully - ha) ... a 16 yr old son ... and a 17 yr old foreign exchange kid from Germany!

Oh ... and a "pre-teen" as they call 'em today ... she's still a daddy's girl and only 10! ;)

I have a 10 year old nephew who a wonderful kid. My older nephew was also, but now he's 40 and still a great person. Big range isn't it? My son is 29.

Still close with your son?

I found that my relationship to my oldest immediately improved upon her moving out (ha). Seriously ... she came to understand what responsibility was all about as soon as she was footing the bill. Started calling me asking for advice!
