Actually -- as we speak I'm printing it! Yeah!!! :)

No I have some work to do on the visuals and I can be done for the day! ;)

That's good. I like the excitement of preparing and making presentations. I did several at conferences as well as school districts.

Yeah ... there is a certain "rush" to be felt in public speaking. It's something I do frequently for my job, but I still feel it :).

Printed! Yeah! ... no on to the visual work! ;)

Yeah - already printed out stuff for audience. I want to do something for a display table too ... ;)

I started only printing the pages that the participants needed during the presentation and handing out CDs with everything, including my powerpoint and copies of the display on it. The first year I did that at a conference it was a big hit. It also made my luggage lighter!

Cool! ;)

This presentation includes proposal for a building project so I have architect renderings blown up which I'll put on easal stands on a table in addition to handing out copies of them.

Yes you did. That's one I don't quite understand though.
LOL - you said you missed the job, esp. the kids, right?

I don't mind my job. Just don't like to talk about it much. :) I guess I want me identity to extend past my occupation, if that makes sense? :)

I can understand and respect that.

Yes, the kids were the best part of the job, even when they were assholes, they were fun. Fortunately I'm still in contact with a lot of them.

I need to buy a pencil sharpener. That or have my sister return the electric one I gave her when I retired.

I bet you make "favorite teacher" list for many kids!

What age did you teach? Just curious :)

In 36 years I taught them all! Several kids I taught more than once. I taught a handful of kids four years in elementary school.
I like kids ... but I like them after their baby years ... and before their teen years best! :)
