Hi DGO.....seen you around many times posting before or after you....just wanted to say hello

A bit of advice.......
Always keep several get well cards on the mantel. If unexpected guests arrive, they'll think you've been sick and unable to clean.
I really need to do this now that I am at a nice enough place to have people visit.
The cards will keep them from staying too long.
I never really had visitors until I moved to this new place.
Stops in to say Hi![]()
If I lived somewhere else I'd probably have more. Since I live in the heart of an entertainment area, I usually meet people at a venue.
I am close but not down in the art village here.
That makes for an easier time to get out when they close things off for the street fairs.
I don't know if this is going to work. Here's a purse fashion show........

"The Sheer Nightgown".......
A husband walks into Victoria's Secret to purchase a sheer nightgown for his wife.He is shown several possibilities that range from $250 to $500 in price. The sheerer the higher the price.Naturally he opts for the sheerest item pays $500 and takes it home.He presents it to his wife and asks her to go upstairs put it on and model it for him.Upstairs the wife thinks(she's no dummy)I have an idea it's so sheer that it might be as well be nothing.I wont put it on but I'll do modeling naked, return it tomorrow and keep the $500 refund for myself. She appears naked on the balcony and strikes a pose. The husband says,"Good grief you'd think for $500 they'd at least iron it."He never heard the shot.Funeral Thursday.at noon.Closed coffin.

I predict you will find a surprise incoming on Tuesday.![]()

Thanks in advance.
When is your surgery?
Yesterday after 10am turned into a good day. No pain! I was okay until a classmate posted on our class page. A good friend had a stroke Wednesday. It hit me hard. She's home, but strokes aren't to be taken lightly. Her daughter has asked us to limit our calls, texts and visits. Sounds harsh, but Ethel is very active and would get no rest if folks called. Her daughter did give us her phone number. When you've known someone for 54 years you don't want to hear they're sick. Some folks graduated from elementary school together and have been friends since kindergarten!
Sorry to hear about your friend. I've seen strokes go both ways. I hope she recovers quickly.
Sending some prayers and Angels her way.
I have to be at the hospital at 7 am so they shifted me back from first.
I'm taking that as a good sign. This doc likes easy stuff to warm up before the harder surgeries
in the line up. I really hope this means they are gonna fix the tear in the bicep
besides the rotator cuff. I could care less if I have another big scar.
I think I'd prefer the harder stuff first while I'm nice and fresh. Maybe that's why I'm not a doctor. I had to be at the hospital at 5 am. That was early, even for me. The anesthesiologist almost aborted the surgery because of my heart rate. "Why wouldn't my heart be beating a thousand times a minute when I'm nervous about the surgery?" My PCP had ordered several tests before he would sign off.
I don't deal with surgery well. In recovery, I was acting crazy. The strange thing is that I knew I was acting crazy. I couldn't stop screaming. I think they finally gave me something to knock me out! Later. I mentioned my behavior to my doctor and he smiled, confirming my suspicions.
You will be in my prayers!
Thank You! I can never have too many prayers. I'm ok with surgery, this is #6 in 10 years...#3 in last 5.
It's dealing with the gas man that ticks me off. They all seem to think that acupuncture is 1 step above Voodoo.
I am at the point I refuse to take out my ear needles (for stress /PTSD) & my contacts which I sleep in.
My ortho is ok with them in & he deals with the whiney anesthesiologists who usually hate me & being called the gas man.
They are giving me morphine this time for the post surgery pain. Never had that before so it should be interesting.
As soon as I can I will be back on my old meds & acupuncture needles instead. Usually takes me about a week.
if you like the oil I sent you just let me know & I will send you a bigger bottle. This is the purse size.

Then Iam glad I could be be of ServiceI needed that. Thanks!![]()
