Lucifer

"Well I have to face Gabriel, he is my brother and it's a debate about who is the strongest one, it usually has to do with our vessels. And the way I have it, it seems like the two Winchester brothers is our vessels..."

He gritted his teeth

"Yes and you know just how I feel about that one, but since Michael can't have his vessel and mine resists me as well we are quite evenly matched at the moment"

 

[Mayu]

She looked at him "And I am going to be there at that battle, I will not let you die Lucifer. I will make sure of that, I will not interfer because I know it must happen. But I am also not going to just sit on my hands and do nothing' She said sweetly.

Lucifer

"And such lovely and delicate hands they are"

He smiled at her and absently brushed a stray strand of hair out of her face

"Let's hope you are alive when it happens, but that you are not there when it happens. It will be the most dreaded happening in all of mankind's thoughts and dreams. Armageddon is not the final battle as depicted in most believes, it is the meeting between the military son Gabriel and the rebel Lucifer"

He chuckled and pulled her close to him, feeling her body flush against his, he smiled calmly at her

"Have I told you that you are lovely?"

 

[Mayu]

She looked at him, running her fingers down his cheek hearing what he said. The thought of the war made her worry.

"I will do what ever I have to, to insure that you succeed. Let's face it Lucifer I'm fucked, I side with you and when I die I will end up going to hell. Id rather be a fallen angel then a demon for christ sakes" She sighed.

"I am keeping you alive, because if your "brother" tries to kill you, id kill him before he had the chance" She said softly.

Lucifer

"Hell isn't all that bad, sure we have a bit of a sulfur smell going on down there and the plumbing is a nightmare with all that heat..."

He eyed her speculatively and started to grin

"Thing is that my father might not want me dead and no matter how hard everybody tries, I will not die"

He shrugged

"Sure they all want peace and when I'm around there isn't any because I'm the little rebel and I seem to stir up trouble no matter where I go"

 

[Mayu]

She smiled looking at him and laughed "Smart ass" Melody laughed lovingly even more and sighed a bit, cuddling up to him she was content, having no idea that the angel Anna was around, waiting for the right moment.

Lucifer

"Of course I am, you do need reasons to love me"

He grinned and kissed her cheek, holding her close to him, he could sense some sort of disturbance, but he wasn't sure yet what it was. For now it didn't seem to matter and he just laid back, contentedly

 

[Mayu]

She smiled listing to him, he was everything to her and she was everything to him. Melody felt protected and could feel his love as she fell asleep. But as she fell asleep, she was soon greeted by a dream, but it only took a matter of moments to realize this was no dream. Melody saw Lucifer in trouble, sitting up in bed she panted, wide awake and Lucifer was gone.

"Lucifer..." She said and knowing he wasn't coming, getting dressed, she got into her car and stepped on the gas.

"Hang on' she knew where they were, thank god it wasn't far, when she got there, she ran up and saw Lucifer out of his vessel and in his true form.

"Lucifer!" She yelled and saw Anna turning her head, this was enough time to get to Lucifer. She couldn't touch him in his true form but she could feel his warmth. The vessel was dead, Lucifer was dying, and Anna was going to die if she had anything to say about it.

Looking at Lucifer she placed her hand over his true forms body and healed up the wound. Looking at Anna, she reached out for Anna and clenched a fist, she was screaming as Melody was slowly killing her. And she spoke.

"Non o Chithaeglir, lasto beth daer, rimmo nin Bruinen dan in Ulaer" She yelled, a light surrounded Lucifer's vessel as the body heals and is alive once more. And before there eyes, Anna blew up. Melody was panting hard, she was weak but looked over at Lucifer and smiled.

Lucifer

He sat up with a gasp of breath, he felt at the wound in his chest, but it was gone. Then he remembered that Melody was chanting and it was not any of the languages of angels or demons. He looked at her, noticed that she was basically out on her feet, he got up and quickly grabbed her before she could fall.

"What did you do Melody? How did you do this?"

 

[Mayu]

She felt his arms around her before she could hit the ground, when he asked about it. She looked down, just trying to figure out how to explain it. "I never knew how to tell you, I needed to wait for the right time." She sighed "What you heard was Latain, I'm no hunter but....I'm a witch" She said afraid he would reject her.

Lucifer

The news shocked him

"A witch?"

Then a thought struck him and he started to chuckle

"No wonder I could never read your mind and here I thought I was losing my touch..."

Before he could say anything further a series of blood chilling howls ranged out through the night air. He gave an angry sigh and helped Melody to sit down on a barrel, it was slightly scorched from the fight between Anna and him

"Stay here and if you hear something that sounds like a dog, call me"

He drew a wicked looking knife from under his jacket and instantly disapeared

 

[Mayu]

She didn't like this, she was to weak to do much but was glad he took the news as well as he did. But when she heard howling that came with growling.

"Uhhh Lucifer...!" She called, she knew they were hell hounds, with a gesture of her hand she was able to make it so you could see them, three hell hounds.

"Oh Shit....." she said to herself.

Lucifer

He appeared next to one hell hound, wrapping his hands around it, he broke it's neck and plunged the blade in his hand into the back of it's skull. In a flash he moved to the next one, plunging the blade into it's heart repeatedly, the third hell hound charged and jumped at Melody. She could feel it's fetid breath washing over her...but it's jaws snapped close half an inch from her face.

Lucifer was standing over the corpse of the second hell hound, his hand in front of him in a grasping motion and pure anger made him radiate an almost blinding light

"Now then puppy dog, that is NOT the way to treat a lady"

A loud dog like whimper came from the hell hound, followed by a loud crack as Lucifer made a jerking motion with his hand and the hell hound dropped to the ground, twitching as it's life ebbed away. Lucifer came walking over to Melody, brushing what seemed like congealed blood from his clothing, he knelt next to her

"Are you alright?"

 

[Mayu]

She watched all this, he was so powerful how could anyone beat him. But as a hound went right for her, she saw the light and she had to cover her eyes it was so bright. But Once it was all over, she opened up her eyes and looked at him and smiled at him.

"Remind me never to piss you off" She chuckled some

"I"m alright" She said kindly, looking into his eyes. She saw what he did "Damn Lucifer, amazing how powerful an angel can be" She said impressed.

"I'm just glad I got to you when I did"

Lucifer

He smiled at her and kissed her gently

"I think I'm the most glad of us two, you saved my life"

He got up and looked around

"Let's get you away from here, don't know if Zundrak might decide to send more of his puppies after you"

He picked her up and carried her towards her car, he opened the door and settled her into the passenger seat. He knew how to drive as the vessel he was in had that knowledge, he got into the driver's seat and started the car

"Why not get take out while we are underway?"

He chuckled and pulled away

 

[Mayu]

She smiled looking at him "Take out sounds good" She said simply, while he drove, she began to wonder what happened. "Why was Anna after you? I mean what happened after I fell asleep? My dream was violent, that is what woke me up" She said kindly.

Lucifer

He frowned as he drove

"She said something about preventing Armageddon, but I got the feeling that it wasn't her idea, that somebody had ordered or even strongly requested it from her"

He shrugged

"She really caught me unawares, I'm sure that I stood a fair chance against her, but well what's done is done"

He pulled into a drive through

"What would you like?"

He motioned at the burger menu

 

[Mayu]

She looked at him as he drove "Talking about doing it, but give me a break. What was killing you, going to solve anything?" She rolled her eyes and sighed. "What ever your having, since we like the same stuff" She said simply. Her eyes scanned the area, she was afraid they were going to be attacked again.

Lucifer

He chuckled and squeezed her hand

"I'll share mine with you then"

He pulled up to the order window

"I would like ten chedachicken burgers with medium chips and hmm seven Sodas"

He acknowledged the order and drove to the serving window, where they waited for a while before the order got served and he drove away, not paying anything and no sign of alarm from anybody at the diner.

"Killing me before Armageddon would give Michael the edge to win"

 

[Mayu]

Melody looked at him and nodded "If something happened to you, then I would have to kill Michael" She said simply. When they got back to her place she helped him bring everything in and removed her jacket.

"It's funny I could have become a hunter and yet I turned into a witch, go figure" She chuckled some. "But I know everything hunters do"

Lucifer

He waited until they had settled in, their food dealt out and then he gave her a steady look

"Look Melody, I'm not ungrateful that you saved my hide, but you can not go up against Michael. Even in his weaker form he his one of heaven's most powerful weapons"

He took a bite from one of the burgers and finished chewing it

"He is the type of angel that protects prophets, why do you think nothing can harm a prophet? Simply because the most powerful being known to man besides God is looking after them"

He took a sip of Cola and fixed her with an urgent gaze

"Promise me that you will drop that idea Melody, you can't face Michael, you can't throw your life away for no good reason"

 

[Mayu]

She grew angry, she walked away from the table her anger was so bad and mixed with her power she actually broke a window. "No good reason?" She said, turning to face him. "NO GOOD REASON!" she yelled. "Do you have any idea what kind of person I almost became before I met you? I would have been no better then a demon Lucifer! I lost my parents, I LOST EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU...I will not just sit on my ass and let the only person that keeps me sane die. How do you expect me to promise that?"

Lucifer

He watched her powers lash out with interest, so when her control over them slipped they struck out blindly. Interesting

"Before you work yourself into a further frenzy and blow up the whole neighborhood, think about it. With me dead, the only one left who understands and agrees with me is you. You will be my legacy. As powerful as you are, if you go head-to-head with Michael you will die and thus kill everything that I have worked for, what I am. Is that what you want?"

 

[Mayu]

She looked at him, with a snap of her fingers the window fixed itself "Legacy? I'm a mortal witch im no legacy" Melody sat down and sighed some "I eaither fight now or fight later Luficer, they will come for me, and they will kill me. But I am no legacy" She looked down at her lap.

Lucifer

"Yes mortal you are, but nobody else wants to accept my way of thinking and yet you do. You carry the way I think with you, that makes you the carrier of my legacy my dear"

He took her hand in his

"And you will be able to carry that out before your end comes, so if you stay alive when I die, it means that I will live on through you. Do you understand why I ask this of you?"
