Lucifer

He knew his brother was coming to kill him in his weaker form, he could sense that Adam was strong and he knew that his very essence was hinging on the decision of an ex-demon blood junkie hunter who hated him with his entire being.

"Can you bring back our mother?"

The question from Dean was an unexpected one, Lucifer shook his head

"She is in a better place Dean, I know better than to rip her from there and bring her back. It can be done, but she will not be the mother you remember Dean. I can grant you to see her again and talk with her, but I can't bring her back and know that it would make you happy"

"What about my dad? Can you let him go?"

Lucifer thought about that request for a moment

"Dean you know how it is down there, your father was even harder hunted than you...but if you truly and really want it, then I'll bring him back"

Dean took a deep breath and Sam looked at him

"Dean...really?"

"It's dad Sammy..."

Something seem to pass between the two brothers and Sam turned to face Lucifer

"OK Lucifer, but only when you face Michael, not ever after that"

Lucifer nodded

"You have my word on that Sam"

Sam frowned

"How do we do this"

"Just close your eyes, you too Dean, you can't see my real form"

As the two brothers closed their eyes, Lucifer transferred himself into Sam's body, taking great care not to harm him in any way. After he was done with it, he looked at Melody and smiled at her

"It's done"

 

[Mayu]

Melody looked over at Lucifers Vessel and grabbed the pendent out of his pants pocket "We all will be involved in this fight, because everyone here knows sorrow and pain. "Dean you have to trust in what I am going to do, looking in your eyes...Sam's eyes I can feel the pain in them. Sometimes its hard to look eaither of you in the eye." She sighed some.

"Sam I know you can hear me so listen please...you can give me your pain and your sorrow. I can draw it out of Lucifer without doing anything bad, sam. Dean I will need your help as well, I know Michael is almost here.."

Looking over at Lucifer and walked over to him, wrapping her arms around him. She knew Michael was behind her, she didn't want to let Lucifer go but knew she had to.

'I love you Lucifer...be safe...for me" She kissed him softly, it was strange kissing Sammy's vessel, but it never mattered what vessel he was in. Because she knew it was all him.

"I will make sure no one interferse, what I plan on doing will not harm your brother..I promise"

Turning she looked at Michael and stepped away from Lucifer going over to Dean.

"Dean Sam will be alright, but I need your trust most of all. Because I need your help the most. Will you trust me...?" she said softly

Lucifer

"So brother are you ready for your demise?"

Lucifer noticed that Michael was focused on Blaine, his former vessel

"I'm not quite ready to do yet"

It was with shock that Michael turned to face him and then he sneered

"So you tricked your way into your vessel Lucifer?"

He stepped forward

"No little brother, unlike you who act more like a demon than an angel, I spoke only the truth"

The sneer remained on Adam's face, but the eyes showed a bit of doubt

"So Michael...shall you attack me or are you waiting for more angels to come and help you out? Still hiding behind your status to hide what a weak fool you are?"

Michael's anger flared up and he pulled his sword and attacked Lucifer

 

[Mayu]

Melody watched them, she wanted to stop this right then and there. She would break this fight up, but it had to be the right time. She closed her eyes for a moment then opened them, she put on Liliths pendent and reached her hand out which soon was filled with an angel killing sword. She promised not to hurt Michael and she wasn't, but it was more for protection.

"Fighting is not the way Michael, you are to blind!"

Lucifer

Michael had a distinct disadvantage as Adam was not nearly as powerful as Dean, Lucifer blocked his attacks easily and landed a few telling blows in the process

"You should listen to her Michael"

"She's a human, we do not take their advise, we give it"

"Then you do not love them enough Michael"

"And you do?"

"More than you it seems"

He parried the thrust and hit Adam with a straightforward punch, sending him reeling.

"Do you think Father will be happy with you bending the rules?"

"Like your demons have made you happy by doing what they want?"

Lucifer grimaced

"I'm not God Michael and your plot to kill Him, will not make you God either"

Michael recoiled and Lucifer chuckled

"You thought I didn't know brother? You fed our Father lies all this time, just to make Him focus on me and not notice you creeping up behind Him with a knife"

Michael's shoulders slumped a bit

"But when I bring Him the tiding of your death, He will forgive me my mistakes"

"Or maybe cast you down, making you the new devil"

Michael threw himself at Lucifer

 

[Mayu]

Melody thought for a moment "Like you can give advice, you would never be God. Or have you not payed attention to whats going on in heaven. Raphael is the one fighting in heaven, wanting to be god. If you do not care for mortals, then you will be no god. All people will see is a crual person that doesn't give a damn!"

Lucifer

He was busy beating Michael down and it was Melody's words that broke Michael's concentration, Lucifer landed a quick group of punches that drove Michael to the ground and Lucifer had his sword against Michael's throat, for a moment he wanted to end it, but it would kill Adam as well.

"Go ahead Lucifer...kill me...I can see it in your eyes...you want to do it"

Lucifer got to his feet and looked down at Michael

"No little brother...I will not kill you...and become the pawn you want me to be..."

He took a deep breathe to steady his breathing

"You have been working on this plans for eons Michael, but you keep forgetting who I am. I am one of the first born, I was the one who wasn't afraid to stand up to Father and say: "I will not bow down to man", I am the one you locked up in a hell that you created, a hell that I had to rule to survive. Do you know how it feels to fight for your survival every day? No brother you don't, you have no idea what it feels like to be me and now you want to use me against my own Father? No Michael you can forget that idea, I'm not a pawn"

With that Lucifer turned around and walked back towards Melody and Dean

 

[Mayu]

She looked at Michael, she had to fight she refused to lose Sam and Lucifer. Looking down she closed her eyes, she couldn't take much more. She spoke

"Michael you don't understand anything, you are strong but your also very blind. You see what you want to see, you have no idea what it really is like. Because your father never gave you emotions, now why is that do you think? not to let his angels know love, happyness, sadness. Lucifer knows because ive shown him everything.

We all stand against you Michael it is not just you two, we all are in this fight. We all will suffer if Lucifer dies, but I will not allow you to kill Lucifer. I have lost to many people, we all have lost to many people. Lucifer has lost someone dear to him as well." She closed her eyes.

"Lilth's death, that moment always in my eyes etched in over and over again and again that moment always in my eyes always i must be a dream the pain of so many others losing someone dear its my fault etched in etched in repeating over and over inside my head my memory, my pain..." A light surronded Melody's body, when it died down she was in a white dress.

"It's time you feel the pain of those you despise!" She opened up her eyes as she knew what had to be done as she walked up and stopped between the brothers.

"The pain of the dead, Lilth, Jessica Moore, Mary Winchester, John Winchester, Adam Milligan. I pain of the living, Sam and Dean Winchester, Lucifer and myself!" She grabbed him by the throat.

"Feel it all damn you!" she yelled even louder.

"Outside of time, outside of gain. Know only sorror, know only pain!"

A black light surronded her hand as the combined pain will stop him dead in his tracks.

Lucifer

He watched as the agony washed over Adam's face knowing it was a direct result of the pain Michael was feeling

"Not too much love, you don't want to harm Adam as well"

 

[Mayu]

She waved her hand and it stopped "It wont hurt Adam, they are human emotions so it will not harm Adam, I made sure of that because I am sure Dean would kill me if I hurt his brother"

Lucifer

"And Sam would too, they are a more close-knit family than they think they are"

He saw Dean looking sceptically at him, but he kept his gaze on Melody

"Michael all feelings isn't just pain, but now that you can understand them, do you realize just what you are doing?"

 

[Mayu]

She looked down "We have to stop this fighting, we are all in trouble, humans and angels. And shall we not forget not all demons are bad, even if you don't like Ruby Dean." She walked over to Michael and extended her hand for Michael to get up. Rather he would take her hand was another matter.

"Will you help us?"

Lucifer

He was wondering what would Michael do, if he agreed to help, Lucifer had to give up Sam as vessel and it was one of the best vessels he ever had. He sighed inward and he felt amusement from the part where Sam was

"What's so funny?"

"I can't believe that you want to keep your promise"

"I did make a promise Sam"

"It's not something I would expect from the devil to keep"

Lucifer sighed again

"You are just impossible"

"Call it eons of church doctrine"

 

[Mayu]

Melody heard Lucifer laugh, looking at him she wondered what was so funny, then she had the idea. "Having a nice conversation with Sam?" She sighed some and looked back at Michael wondering what he would end up doing.

Lucifer

He nodded and he looked at Dean

"Your brother has his own sense of humor"

Dean gave him a flat look

"Yes I have noticed that, can I talk to him?"

"Sure"

Lucifer allowed Sam's conscious to take over

"Sammy?"

"Yeah Dean it's me"

"What is he thinking?"

"He feels sad that he has to leave me"

"What? You got to be kidding me?"

"No Dean, remember I can hear all his thoughts, he is serious about this"

Dean looked away

"Ya, it's hard to believe, I'm still struggling to believe it myself"

"You sure he is being serious?"

"Dead serious Dean"

Dean sighed

"OK"

Sam settled back in and Lucifer took control again, he looked over at Michael and Melody, wondering what Michael would decide

 

[Mayu]

She knelt down to Michael "I am sorry I hurt you Michael, but you need to feel. Your father hasn't told you everything, I understand you see Lucifer betrayed you and your father. But without Lucifer there is no balance in this world, there has to be a heaven and a hell. Would you perfer a murderer who killed three familys live up in heaven?" She looked up at Lucifer "I love Lucifer Michael.." She said looking back at Michael.

"If you do not care for mortals, then not even you will become god. I know what Lucifer wants, its not what you think it is. He could have killed me, hurt me and he hasn't. He can feel because of me, If you keep Adam as your vessle then please, let him show you emotion."

Lucifer

"Come on brother, I am the necessary evil, did you not wonder why it is never written that I get killed? I get beaten and won yes, but not killed. It is because even when you have utopia going you will need somebody to handle the sinners. You know how humans are brother, I will always be needed"

 

[Mayu]

She helped him up and returned to Lucifers side and sighed a bit "There will always need to be a blance of power, god is supposed to love all his children, mortals and angels alike" By the looks of it, there was no fight.

"I think its over, if he was going to fight he would go for one of us" She said lowly so Dean and Lucifer can hear. "If there is no fight here, what are we going to do next, go after raphael, perhaps Castial would help?"

Lucifer

Lucifer felt certain that Michael would not try and kill him anymore, this was his queue. He slid as quiet as he could from Sam's body and back into Blaine's. When he was done he opened his eyes again and stepped to stand next to Melody

"Castiel...I think we need some rest, Michael will you come with Melody and me? We can talk about things as we go"

He turned to face the Winchesters

"Sam, Dean I want to thank you for your help, I have not forgotten my promise. He will be waiting for you at your usual spot, you can test him you don't trust me, but I'm sure he tested himself already"

 

[Mayu]

She smiled at the boys, and reached into her pocket, taking out a small bottle. It would be easy to hide in the hand. "Take this.." She gave it to Sam. "Its something for that yellow eyed demon you are looking for. Well I know where he is, he is in a old building three miles away from here. Meg might be with him so becareful" She said simply and wrapped her arm around Lucifer.

Lucifer

"Just don't kill him too hard Sam, I want to have a talk to him as well"

Lucifer grinned

"And I'm quite sure that my way of having a talk with him will be a bit more...deadly when I do it"

He looked over at Michael

"Coming?"

 

[Mayu]

She saw him walking over to them, and sighed a bit "I don't know about the two of you but I have one hell of a head ache" She unlocked the door and got in the drivers side, waiting for them to get in the car.

Lucifer

He waited for Michael to get in and then got in as well

"You're overtired love, you need to rest, Michael and me will have to talk a bit"

"When this day dawned I wouldn't have thought that is what I'd end up doing"

Lucifer just gave his brother a smile

"Only one is perfect in our lives Michael and it's not one of us, but I am glad that you aren't trying to stab me anymore"

Michael gave him a weak smile

"You beated me down, just like always"

They shared a soft chuckle and Lucifer turned his attention to the road

 

[Mayu]

She sighed "What was I not supposed to worry? Sorry but if the man I love dearly is in danger and im afraid to lose him, i'm going to worry" She laughed softly, and pulled into her drive way. "Now there is one rule when it comes to my house. No Fighting..." Melody got out and opened up her front door.

Lucifer

"Only when you lash out and break your own windows"

Lucifer chuckled at her and saw Michael frown

"She's a witch as you obviously found out, don't worry I didn't know either until yesterday when she saved my life"

They followed her into her house and Lucifer locked the door behind him

"Excuse me Michael, I just want to say good night, I'll be right back"

Michael looked confused at him

"You have adopted many of their customs"

Lucifer thought about the passionate sex he and Melody had numerous times and grinned

"Oh much more than you can imagine brother"

He slipped an arm around Melody and lead her to her bedroom
