Desperate Househusbands

While I was at work, I thought of writing a story set in the Desperate Housewives universe, but instead of exploring the lives of sexually attractive women as they navigate the neighbourhood politics and daily life as mothers and spouses, the protagonists are gender-swapped variations of the main cast (Gabriel Solis instead of Gabrielle, Sean Mayer instead of Susan, etc.)

I was also wondering if I should bother trying to write it in the style of comedic drama or just focus on erotic situations. I fully intend on having all participating characters be over the age of 18!

Any thoughts or advice would be really helpful.

If you mention the TV show or cast, it goes in the fan fiction category which isn't well traveled. Make up your own TV show about hot chick's and then focus on husbands.

Comedic drama AND erotic situations. Add a pair of twin adult sons. It's just a matter of time before one of the cast gets between them. A wife that wants to be a cuckquean but wants to keep it out of the show. Avoid cuckold hubbys just to be different in this situation. Lots of room for drama. I'd keep the cast to about four couples.
