Design a Sidequest! [Contest with prices]

Hello,

welcome to my first "Design a Sidequest" Contest here at
Literotica. I hope this is the right section for it.

I will keep it short: Design a cool sidequest for
Roundscape: Adorevia and maybe you will win one of the prices and see your sidequest in the game.

The dirtiest scene - 50$

Companion potential - 50$

Best story - 50$

Deadline: 25th October

Roundscape takes part in a classic fantasy world including orcs, elves, minotaurs, magic and so on. Let your imagination run wild and if you have any questions regarding the lore send us a E-Mail: roundscape@hotmai.com

The Quest should start in one of the following places:

Oakshire, a small human village like riverwood in skyrim or lothering from dragon age.

Summeredge, the human capitol. Similar as Denerim from Dragon age or soltitude in skyrim.

The grassland around Summeredge or Oakshire.

Of course you can invent new places where your sidequests takes place.

Also you have two important variables.

If Male and If female. Since the player can choose his gender
you have to writedifferent erotic scenes for each gender.
But you can also create a "only male" or "only female" quest.

Female PC Potrait

Male PC Potrait

We place great value on decisions in conversations and that
the player should be able to play good/neutral/evil.

2. Prices only via Paypal!

3. The Story must be written in the form of a script. Example

Oh, boy . . . .

Just please don't post that ridiculous picture of Hayden Christensen with the "You underestimate my power" BS from the Star Wars movies.

And you still have yet to provide proof of authenticity of your company's success in the online gaming industry.

Some of us might be pleaded to know what a "sidequest" IS.
[I'm not an on-line gamer as you might well guess]

Funny...their email address is a hotmail account instead of roundscape-adorevia.com address...what's wrong with this picture. And...usually, the web site isn't named after the game until it is well established, like Battlefield or COD, usually the company producing the game is where you go to see about the game, like EA and Activision.

The impression I've gotten from this and their original thread(as well as visiting their site) is that this is a very amateur group hoping to shop an idea to a larger company. They claim to have created numerous other games and to possess years of experience in the online gaming industry, yet provide no proof.

In online games, there are quests characters take that further the plot of the main storyline, and side quests which are optional. I'll use Perfect World as an example. In PW, there are cultivation quests which your character must take in order to reach the endgame content. These quests are necessary; everyone who plays the game has to take them if they want access to more and better skills/spells/powers.

Along the way, there are literally hundreds of side quests, ones you can take if you want, but if you don't, it doesn't affect the game. You might be tasked to go and kill ten of a particular type of monster, go into a dungeon to retrieve a mystical painting, and so on.

What Roundscape appears to be doing is building a rather vanilla fantasy MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) with explicit sexual content in addition to the typical hack n' slash. It's an idea that's been around since WoW first launched, but attempts to do it have all failed so far. The problem seems to be that most players latch onto the sexual aspect of the game and don't actually play it.

That may be, but even if you're just starting and shopping for a bigger company to buy you out, for heaven sakes don't use a hotmail account. The web site you developed, you get at least one email box just for signing up. I am now in procession of a multitude of email boxes because of I purchased two hosting at my web site provider. A hotmail account! Well, at least it isn't an AOL account.

Roundscape won't be an online game. The budget of 40k is way to small, it takes about 800k to create an professional looking mmorpg.

But later went on to be Darth Vader, father of Luke and Leia and the epitome of evil. Come with me to the dark side.

Unless of course all the coders, graphics artist and writers are working for a piece of the pie once the game is released.

It's not just about the employees. You also need commercial liceneses from different programs, servers etc. Also i can tell you that it's almost impossible to create a MMORPG without real employees in a real office. See City of Titans.

It's a task for the hero outside unattached to the mainstory and with his
own small story.

You can? Real offices? Real employees? This is the 21st century, the age of the internet. Now a PO Box, yes. Office, how's my garage? Employee, mom gets the mail from the mail box out front. Do I pay her? No she's will to help the cause.

40K will get you all the licenses you need to not only host, but to run your game.

See Microsoft's start up.
