I think it will hold some water. If I was really going to take a hard stance for the illegal immigrants living here in my county I would be inviting them to live in my basement to keep them protected but that’s not my responsibility because I don’t know their history and I’m not sure they would tell me the absolute truth if I asked them. We live in a country full of folks who can’t even obey simple traffic laws. We have dumbed down so many laws that we’ve almost became numb to them and think they don’t apply anymore. We are insulted by our own laws and those who enforce them. We have so many things we can be mad about these days but we have even more things we can be thankful for.

Yah, we also just revoked refugee status for thousands of people fleeing violent dictatorships, some of which spent decades supporting our troops in harm's way, and are currently shipping them to El Salvador.
